I've been thinking.

What if Greg was right? What if injecting my consciousness into a computer robbed me of an eternal reward? Spiritually speaking.

Took me two seconds to read up on it. Stumbled on a book about a man who lived thousands of years ago, sacrificed himself to save mankind. By name of Hercules.

Destroyed all the world's monsters so humans would be safe, and went to Olympus for his trouble. Damnit. Death was my monster. And I killed it. Where's my Olympus?

. . . Unless, Aperture, was the monster.

Aperture, and everybody inside it- holy Hercules, I just thought of something. Keep testing. Or don't. Doesn't matter, I'll be back.

So the book of boba fett was quite disappointed but you know what? Crime lord suits boba way better than mandalore and the mandalorians overall are way better than they ever were in post rotj legends. Sure beskads and verpines were conceptually cool and all but the former was made redundant by all the other lightsaber resistant swords and the latter was op and kinda bs. The idea that the mandalorians don't use their most precious and valuable material to make weapons is really interesting considering their culture and the mandos themselves are no longer being treated as God's by the writers.

I came away from legacy of the force (specifically revelation) hating the mandalorians and these last couple shows, while flawed in their own right have done a lot to fix the mandalorians in my eyes.

All in all kinda disappointed but the mandos are nearly as cool as traviss wanted them to be in her books.

If poetic misophonia is a thing, the official English lyrics to “Lost in Thoughts All Alone” triggered it for me. I rewrote it so the stresses fit the meter properly, while maintaining the meaning from the localization and Kantopia’s translation best I could.
