Like fingerprints on my heart; @dockwcrker
Everything was still so new. So raw. Each sensation, each color, each emotion... It really was all too much sometimes, but Orion dealt with it quiet reconciliation. It wasn’t as if he really had a choice in the matter anyways. He was here now and he was going to make the best of it. There were still many questions as to why he was here, but no matter how many times he thought about it, there was just no point in asking, especially when it seemed that no one had the answers he was seeking.
He was lucky enough to stumble upon a medic by the name of Mercy who fashioned him a frame and because of that, he was able to walk around normally now. However, Orion was still getting use to his frame so there were times he would forget and be careless. A scratch there, a mark here... Nothing ever too severe of course. Nothing that ever drew Energon. There was one time he did dislocate his shoulder, but he was entirely unfazed by the whole ordeal, which unnerved Mercy the entire time he was tending to the wound.
Everything was fine though. Orion was well... as well as he could be at least. There were some things he was still struggling with. Emotionally at least. Physically he seemed fine, but emotionally he seemed.. distant, quiet or emotionally stunted, which wasn’t really the case really. He was just learning how things worked still. How he worked.
Never-the-less, he made due with what he could. He was helping rebuild Cybertron and put it back on its feet with the other Cybertronians that had come back. He had a job as a dataclerk and could always be found reading old materials as well as new ones. As a hobby, he had taken to painting and was still learning to gain a style.
And yet, despite all this... He could not help feeling that he was missing something. What he was missing, he had no idea and sometimes, he lay awake at night, not being able to recharge, his spark stirring restlessly in its chamber.
Feeling exceedingly restless that day, Orion decided to take a walk and see how Cybertron was progressing. Everything seems to be doing well, but he couldn’t quite shake the feeling that something was off about today...
