OMG, this happened and I’m still on shock!
These days I haven’t been very active here, cause, as I told before, I have lot of shit to do.
This week I’ve been preparing myself for a reunion with my two PhD directors, and yesterday was the day.
We talked about my work, and they both told me it is going very well, and not to panic nor stress (they are sooo nice).
Then we went for a drink and have a conversation. Me, as always, mentioned BS. One of my directors, turned his head and said: “what show did you just said?” and me “Black Sails, but don’t worry if you don’t know it, nobody watches it...” and then he goes: “OH MY GOD!! you also watch BS?? Because I do!! And I don’t know anyone who watches it neither!!” so I started jumping and hugging him and talking sooo loud about the show!! I couldn’t belive I was fangirling with my director about BS!! We both got very excited talking about it!
He told me he has’t seen the last two episodes!! And I told him to assume the worst!! hahahaha. He also told me he loved how they portraited Flint’s sexual orientation and the relationship he had with Thomas, and that it was about time a show like this shown this kind of characters! I also told him to write me when he watches the final episode, cause he’s going to shit himself!!! XD
We talked about everything!! I even told him about my obsession with Billy and that I even made a blog in order to talk about him!! OMG!! I still can’t believe it!! Told him about the fanfictions and he liked that idea, and told me to do something similar in my investigation!! For real!!
But the best part is yet to come!!
In the reunion I wanted to ask something but in the last minute I forgot about it because I thought it would sound crazy... But then, when we were talking about BS, I didn’t care, and told him that I wanted to quote Jack Rackham in my investigation, and if it was posible to do it... and he said: “of course you can! Please, make it so!” And I got even more excited!!
I AM GOING TO QUOTE JACK FUCKING RACKHAM IN MY THESIS!!!
I still can’t believe this happened!
