I’m losing weight now, which is good. I think you’re only supposed to have one chin and the back of my neck is beginning to look like a package of hot dogs.

What do Dodger Dogs and Team Bond Girls have in common? They're both Farmer Johns Local Legends!

You see, Farmer John is running a promo to support Southern California sports teams. Any kind of team is eligible to enter and your votes get you to various levels of celebritude. 50 votes gets you some coupons for meat. 150 votes get your team on a billboard. 300 votes enters your team into a drawing for the grand prize. Currently, they've made it past the 150 vote benchmark. This means they'll be on a Los Angeles area billboard in all their curling glory. The next step is to get to 300. At this point, all the teams that have reached this goal will be entered in a drawing to win new team swag, complete with a new logo designed by a pro. Every vote counts as an entry, so if one team has 350, they'll be entered that many times. If a team has 500, same thing. So, the more votes, the better. There are two ways to vote. [Edit: Voting has ended] You can vote once each way. After the text, if they send you follow up messages, simply reply back "Stop All" and they'll stop sending you texts. So go and vote. It costs you a couple minutes of your time and goes to a good group of gals. If you're not sure about Farmer John's, here's a couple reasons to like them. They make the world famous Dodger Dog and they ran a campaign to name the bacon wrapped hot dog the official hot dog of Los Angeles. So, they're good people.
