Goodbye Do Dodonpa 😢 She provided thrills for 20 years but unfortunately her time is up. The Japanese text above her says Sayonara (Goodbye) Last year it was announced that Do Dodonpa would permanently close and never reopen again due to multiple issues surrounding the ride. Pretty sad news for rollercoaster fans around the world. This ride was formerly the world’s fastest acceleration at 112 mph (180 kmh) in 1.5 seconds. It was high on my bucket list so I’m disappointed I never got to ride
