exactly and like... gross dudebros like this are part of the reason the female characters don't get to do anything anymore. because these guys are satisfied with the female characters standing around and just being pretty props to look at. they don't care if they're strong, good characters, they just care that they're hot and have big boobs. so of course the author would see no reason to change it.
