Ancak ne yazıkki ülkemizde de görülen para her zaman adaleti sağlar mantığı başka ülkelerde de olduğuna şahitlik edeceksiniz.  Mujin gerçekten de sisler şehri. Ayıpları örtmenin yolu bu. İnsanlar adaleti sağlayamıyorlarsa. İnsanların üzerine inen görünmezlik perdesidir bu sis. Suçlanan birçok kişi işlerine geri döner ve dava hala ülkede adaleti arayanların gerçekleri gün yüzüne çıkmarya çalıştığı olay haline gelir. Film oyunculuk, sinema çekimleri ile oldukça başarılı. Sahneleri canlandırmaları dahi sizleri rahatsız edecek.  2011 yılında 32. Blue Dragon Film Ödülleri’nde En iyi Müzik ve Popüler Yıldız Ödülünü  2012 yılında KOFRA Fİlm Ödülleri’nde En İyi Film ödülünü Udine Uzak Doğu Fİlm Festivali’nde İzleyici Ödülü ve Black Dragan İzleyici Ödülünü kazanacaktır.

"Silenced" or "Dogani" is perhaps one Gong Yoo movie that I won't be able to watch due to it's heavy plot and constant crying. Let me just deal with his perfectness from afar.

Aight but really...

What the fuck?! I know that your son is mentally ill but why the fuck did you actually agree to compensate for a case on sexually abusing your grandson. "She was a nice woman." Like she probably is but what the hell?! If this didn't happen then Min-soo(??) Never would of tracked down Park. YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!!!!

That post compelled me to actually see Silenced, and...

OH MY GOD this movie is disturbing and rage inducing, but in all the good ways. It’s such a well taken film and the children especially acted so well. TOO well in fact.

Just a heads up - they actually show the rape scenes. Yup. No fade to black, no pan the camera, you actually see the rape on screen. I hope to God that CGI or body doubles were involved and the adult actors didn’t have to ACTUALLY put their hands on the kids.

Some of the scenes that stood out (spoilers for people who didn’t see it)

When he says hello to the two girls and they run away from him

When he saves Yuri from dangling from the window and when she leads him to the laundry room

When Boy Rapist Teacher (forgot his name) says how these “aren’t normal kids and because they’re physically disabled they’re also mentally bad.” (WTF?!?!)

The entire scene in the laundry room. Who else wanted to punch the bitchy hostel warden/mistress? Because I did.

The testimony scenes, ALL of them.

All the rape scenes were creepy and made me want to take a bath, but Min Su’s ESPECIALLY stood out.

When Yeong Du is hiding in the bathroom stall and then the principal is looking from above and climbs on the toilet to get in. That scene scared the fuck out of me.

When the teacher smashes the vase on Boy Rapist Teacher’s head to save Min Su. I was cheering “YES! Take that you pedo piece of shit!”

The doctor lying about Yuri’s medical exam made my head hurt with rage. But when the lawyer proved her wrong I was cheering.

Three words: Yeong Du testifying. Seriously that kid is badass. Her mentioning the CCTV in the principal’s office also counts.

South Korea’s legal system is just as corrupt as India’s. And the state of disabled people in SK is even WORSE. I don’t even know how that’s possible.

Hostel Warden’s evil gloating about how she got Min Su’s grandma to drop the charges. I almost broke the computer and was screaming “FUCK YOU!!!!” Because I was so angry.

Min Su’s reaction to finding this out. That scene will make you cry.

How the dean, principal, and BRT got off with a slap on the wrist, and remembering that this is based on a real story. So the real life pedos actually got away!

THE ENDING... JUST THE ENDING.

At least this movie got the case to be reopened and now those pedos are rotting in a jail cell and the school is shut down.

Seriously, watch the film if you’re not triggered by abuse and rape scenes.
