This is a redraw of a scene from an fanfic that @anartsydoge is writing about our characters where ray (his Oc) ends up saving Fae from freezing in the snow after they transform to their fox form from expending too much energy. he does this despite the fact that the two never meet prior to this (other than a GAY GLANCE CUZ THEY ARE GAY OR WHATEVER)

Epic inspired au anyone??? 🍽 once again I've drawn Ray ( @anartsydoge 's oc ) because I love him and he is so gay for fae (the big eye ball currently)

Tbh i just got so inspired by the song scylla from the epic musical I created a whole little story in my head about a prisoner on a ship who was one of the sacrifices falling in love with scylla after locking eyes with them while they were assessing the sacrifices. There is a moment of hesitation for both of them a spark if you will because he wasn't violent and he wasn't running, which piqued fae's interest. Unfortunately this moment is cut short by one of the other sacrifices attacking them. Sending them into a rage as they devour those around him. Ray escapes being eaten and washes ashore on faes island. The next morning he wakes up finding fae badly injured from the fight and tries to help. It starts out selfishly where he decides if he helps them heal and takes care of them then perhaps they will spare him and take him to a populated island so he can get home. Since currently he is marooned there with no ship and no way to leave. Fae is extremely reluctant hisses at him and the beginning starts so very rocky. Over time however they begin to grow closer bonding over their similar plight, how the world has outlasted them. Both of them having been a prisoner to circumstances that have led them to corruption and ultimately to this moment. THEN THEY CALL IN LOVE AND HEAL TOGETHER OR SOMETHING GAY IDK.
