Quick back story: So after a year and a half hiatus from running I decided to start it back up again. I have run 5 half marathons in my life and I got burnt out from running. I just didn’t feel the passion for it like I did before. Everything started to hurt in my body from my Achilles to my knees and I just didn’t want to do it anymore. One time it was so bad after a half marathon I had to get my boyfriend to carry me up the stairs to my apartment. After a long test and some serious stretching I decided to see if I can find my passion again. I know this mileage isn’t much but I’m going to start small and build up. For now my goal is to run 10 miles a week! When I used to run I used to have so much self confidence and I was so easy going that nothing much bothered me because I released everything in my running. I’m hoping to get back to that!
