Today I took the decision to go back onto anti-depressants. With my neck injury from the accident keeping me out of work, the related money issues, and a separate on-going health scare, this is definitely the right thing to do. My doctor agreed and I restarted my medication this morning.

Mason’s POV:
This passage is a more dialed in sentence on a theme that Shakespeare had been hitting on continuously throughout this chapter. This theme is the realization of mortality and death. Prospero prior to this phase was very protective over his daughter, but his change in mind reflects the realization that he won’t be around forever to look over his daughter. As much as he wants to maintain a watching eye over her, he has to let her move forward with her life and be married off so she has someone to support her when he is no longer there to do so himself.
