Finished bees so that’s 2 of the 3 books this author has written.

Gotta admit the last couple chapters were alright and I did get invested in finding out where it would end. The rest of the book? Weird af. Still not 100% sure whether they were actual bees or little anthro bee people.

Really did NOT enjoy the intense religious tones in this one. I liked the ending better that the pod ending as I felt this one tied things up nicely and didn’t leave too many unanswered questions.

2 books down 1 to go so next up is The Ice which can’t possible be any worse than bee book….

yeah the bee book was HEAVY on the religion, and i agree with the narrative ending better. i think she tried to do too much with the pod book with so many narratives.

…..finished Pod and all I can say is WOW OK. I think I’ll go read the bee one now because if I’m going to need therapy due to a book I figure I may as well go all in

Pod reader: I have met the wrasse. At this point I feel for the wrasse with the situation it’s in :( also living with that fugu would drive me nuts tbh.

Not 100% sure in what the ‘molt’ is yet but I’m leaning toward plastic trash.

and yeah, that's my guess as well. i'm thinking of that big garbage patch in the pacific as an example.
