There is an existential level of loneliness when you come from the stars. From a place, better than here. Where compassion, empathy and intelligence are the valued traits. It's a feeling, deep within your core yet without any tangible memory, you know it to be truth but there's no solace.

Here, among aliens. Humanity bathing in corruption and greed and all things superficial; material. It's an entirely different kind of loneliness. It's not just the absence of presence. The lack of a body beside you. It's being stranded in the cosmos. It feels like extinction. One grain of sand, amongst eight billion, yet feeling like a star, lightyears away from it's closest partner.
