This made me think of something an old roommate of mine had called a "prediction bingo."

It was tacked up on the wall of our dorm room and was a bunch of jokes, but some seemed plausible in today's day and age and I thought it was so fucking funny. Your ask reminded me of it and then I thought this is absolutely something Mike would do every year. So I kind of used it as an excuse to draw this I'm sorry. But regarding your question, yes I think he did. It was kind of like using all the money he was making to go wild and buy a bunch of stuff most people dream about having in a lifetime. This might be kind of a working design for post SL Mike that I'll improve upon in the future because I feel like it could be better lmao.

I think the fandom around the batfam characters would at least be a better place if more people had a better conceptualization of liking multiple characters at once.

Like some people will complain about fans of whatever character hating on their blorbo, but at the same time treat fans of both like they are some kind of traitors that don't really like their blorbo for real. And I think that's fucked up and not really conducive to anything but arguments and misery.

And I'm not just being vague for the sake of not naming characters, this legitimately applies to multiple characters and in multiple directions.

The general rule seeming to be that whoever is being the most annoying to you isn't in the same group you are.

When really what we should be doing is acknowledging that every group has a variety of people and some of them in each group are annoying.
