I'm thinking of commissioning someone to make a new header for me with relevant pairs (not necessarily romantic,) one having been smooched up by the other. Korrasami and Harlivy are the only ones I have decided on, but I was thinking Lady D deserves a spot there as well. Thing is, I don't know who would receive her kisses. Though there are more than a few candidates.

Donna. Alcina just makes her go "give me your lips".

Alcina. Definitely Alcina. She's surprised at how quickly she confessed, but she's not been this in love before either.

Who apologises first?

Alcina. She is the one wrong or who started the fight, in most cases.

Who is more romantic?

Alcina. She definitely is a secret softie with people she loves, and adores sweet and simple things like holding hands and reading together.

Who is more jealous?

I'd say Donna. She'd feel more unsure of herself in a sense that she probably had less relationship experiences. And seeing how people go crazy over Alcina, who is also living in a castle full of women, would make Donna awfully jealous.

Who is better at solving problems?

Donna. She has a hard time with decisions and simple things, but handles something more complicated like a boss. Ask her what she wants for dinner and she's stunned, but then she immediately solves some business related problem Alcina had been stuck with for a few weeks.

Who needs more reassurance/attention?

It's a tie, but I'm going to go with Alcina here. I think she'd be self conscious about a lot of things, despite her confident vibe. Being older than Donna, having the perfectionist attitude... And with her mutation and, well, diet, Alcina would struggle with the thought that she's unlovable, I feel. So Donna has to often verbally say "I love you" for Alcina not overthink it.

Who is more physically affectionate?

Alcina, only a little more. But with the people she loves, Donna is not far behind. She would definitely stroke Alcina's hair a lot, lean into her for comfort, and kiss her cheeks and forehead. Alcina would kiss Donna's hands often, wrap her arms around Donna protectively and would overall cling to Donna a lot.

You might never expect this from Donna, but she is a romantic at heart and she adores reading stories about someone being whisked off their feet by a strong lover who would defend their honor in a moment's notice.

Imagine how lucky Donna is to have found her strong lover in our very own Alcina Dimitrescu. Oh, how the dollmaker would swoon even just recalling how easily she could be scooped up in her arms.

She also loves how much of a romantic Alcina is too. The Countess rarely admits it aloud but it's because she doesn't need to -- actions speak louder than words. Alcina definitely went through a process of courting Donna before popping the question of becoming official lovers.

And even when they got together, Alcina never stopped with her romantic gestures. She still gives Donna flowers, still gives her gifts that reminded her of her beloved, and even brought her breakfast personally when she was able to (of course, it had to correspond to Donna's own diet.)

Alcina's love language isn't just gift giving either, she also quite enjoys physical affection -- both of which overwhelmed Donna at first. She just wasn't used to so much attention from one person, even if they had an extebsive courtship.

Still, the Countess was careful with her and didn't want to push anything that Donna wasn't comfortable with. She had all the time in the world, and she did quite like savoring the little moments with her love.

When Donna realized (or, more like remembered) just how easy it is for Alcina to pick her up bridal style, barely breaking a sweat... it kind of awoke something in her. And Alcina did notice.

It was just so nice to feel weightless, and safe, in someone's arms. Donna didn't always have that -- someone to look out for her when it really mattered. She had Mother Miranda when she was very young, but this was very different.

And when the Dimitrescu offered a small smile and soft kiss to the forehead as part of the package? Oh my, if only there was a way to hide how red her cheeks were quickly turning, this was just too much!

Alcina took a chance to tease her about it before bringing her to bed. She was just too adorable, she was going to kiss her cute little face until the dollmaker passes out from an overdose of love. It's what she deserves, after all.
