Mia tries her best to get along with her three new daughters, taking their teasing in stride. At first she may have been a little scared of them but once she figured out how to trust that they won't hurt her, then things were alright.
Alcina would only ever allow herself to be truly vulnerable in front of Mia, especially since they would've been through so much together.
I like to think they would have a healthy relationship through it all. They're both the type of people who just have so much love to give, it just needs to go to the right people. And with each other, it did.
