I'm going to be so mad at the bee and puppycat fandom if the show gets canned before we get another season.
I understand its not the same. But what, it was 3 episodes giving a quick summary. We are lucky that we still get the original to rewatch. Because other coporations would have gotten them to take it down. The thing is that might be why we got the very abridged version of season 1. Netflix might have given them a offer to remove it from YouTube and they remake it. Or given a smaller budget for season 1 so they could have their summary and keep the YouTube series.
Unless I've missed someone from the show talk about it, then we just don't know.
The creators and everyone who worked on it (hopefully) got paid the amount they deserved for all the dam hardwork they put into it.
I don't know how lazy in space was funded. But it took a long fucking time for it to get released, almost 10 years. Imagine working on something for 10 years (that a lot of people were excited for) to find the loudest thing being said is they hate it.
Then what? My boss is going to hear that. The customer hates what I did, do you know what that means? I get fired. If I get fired from my passion project that I work my ass off for? I'm not touching it anymore.
Just remember that lazy in space was trying to find a platform because the creators either wanted to be paid their worth, get funding to make a even better product or just a wider audience to care. It was done before it was put on Netflix.
I hate to think of what would have happend if they published it on YouTube and everyone shitted on it there. Because it would have been the same show.
Tldr: if you don't like it. Be constructive with your opinions. People worked on this for a long time to create something for you. Animation is slowly dieing. Because people are too loud with their hate and coporations are using that as excuses to kill shows. Be happy with what you have. They may remake more later. Just be happy with the lore and the fandom getting more recognition.
