What is the difference between friendmancing and flirting? Should I try to get one over the other or have equal numbers of both? Absolutely in love with what I’ve read so far! Can’t wait for the release!
The difference is that in the friendmance the MC is more or less oblivious to the attraction they’re feeling, so their reactions to the ROs are basically just friendly with some vague thinking in the back of their head like “hmmm, he has a nice smile” or “I love how her hair gleams in the light”. Whereas in the flirtmance, either bold or shy, the MC is immediately aware of their attraction.
You should absolutely NOT mix and match, otherwise, you’ll lock yourself out of the romance! You can’t go from dense, oblivious MC to “hell yes, let’s do this” MC within 5 chapters! Well, I mean you could, but I’m afraid I couldn’t write all that, rip.
So you can romance them 2 different ways which should not be mixed and matched and should be done in different playthroughs! Also, the friendmancedoesn’t unlock the polys, fair warning to anyone interested in this this.
