a little life update! ⋆｡°✩

hi, everyone! it's been a little while since i last posted, and you might be wondering -- why? quite frankly, college hit me like a truck XD i'm totally okay, but i've had so much work to do that i haven't had as much time or energy to focus on my blorbos -- at least, not in the form of fully-fledged art pieces, with lineart and coloring, though i've been doing lots of doodling and brainstorming behind the scenes! i'm getting into the groove of things, though, and i hope to return to posting art regularly soon.

to anyone who's sent me asks -- i didn't forget about them, i promise! i've been thinking of making updated references for my OCs to reflect some design changes i've made for them as of late, so i might wait to answer them until after i make those edits. i may also create a new art account for all of my non-fandom work -- and that might involve a name change to this blog -- but i'll continue to post about my Kirby blorbos here, the same as always! i'll be sure to let you know the details of that once i decide, and i hope you're looking forward to what's in store for Prisma and friends! ✨

(if you were wondering about Prisma, she probably just uses the equivalent dollar store shampoo and lucked out on finding a good one for her hair type lol)

got bit by the humanization bug yesterday, and it led to this! what spell was prisma actually trying to cast? the world may never know..

but hey, you get to see what they look like with actual limbs! how fascinating! these aren't their final (semi?) gijinka designs by any means, but it was fun to entertain what that might look like :) even if capp and null are practically halfway there already lol

i actually used to be exclusively a human/humanoid artist until i got hooked on kirby in 2023, so it was nice to go back to my roots for a moment! i wasn't planning on posting this, but considering you guys really dig my last sketch i thought you might enjoy this too!

inspired by a real spider i saw in my house (no spiders were harmed in the making of this doodle)!

also, a fun fact! Cappuccino can sense others' life force -- but it's fun to visualize that as HP bars, so that's what i did here!

once upon a time (read: about a week and a half ago), i was joking around with fellow kirby OC enjoyers about Cappuccino having a corruption arc (since red beans are said to drive away evil spirits and Capp is a goody two (nonexistent) shoes)... and then almost immediately afterward, my computer broke so hard it had to be sent in for repairs 😭

thankfully, i have another laptop to hold me over until it's fixed (or i get a replacement LOL)! but the timing of it was really funny, so i just had to make a doodle about it -- especially since Cappuccino has a tendency to cause technologies of all kinds to glitch out. one thing's for certain -- i won't be joking about them again any time soon 😂 /j

i still need to design an updated version of my kirbysona, but for now, have me with constellation cat ears!

it's still halloween, right?

made some last-minute doodles for halloween last night!! featuring prisma, cappuccino, blueberry, lunette, and piscie this time~

cappuccino is usually a big scaredy cat, but i imagine they're totally unfazed by "typical" horror movies. they probably know their fair share of spooky individuals who just remind them of the scary guys on screen XD
