Analysis of the Possibility that This is Mike's Bedroom Door Instead of His Closet Door & the Possibility of a Coming Out Scene to Nancy in S5 & Additional Byler Hints
I carefully examined both of the doors (the S5 door & the closet door), and a couple characteristics match: their shade of ivory white, and their small round metallic door knobs—it's his!
S4, EP1
However, with closer examination of this shot above☝️, I spotted how the closet door possesses a thinner frame and lacks the same indentations.
Additionally, the thick frame of the S5 door indicates that it would open inwards, in contrary to the closet door, which opens outwards.
Mike's bedroom door.

The way he is looking inside the closet in this shot 💀
Furthermore, I believe this is Mike's door because of the reoccurring theme of "opening doors":
There's a blue wall behind Nancy's head.

Nancy is present every time Mike opens the door. This prompts the question: could this foretell a coming out scene to Nancy in S5?
I would also like to mention about the presence of Nancy's blue barrette. Perhaps another subtle hint?

Her name is Jane, Mike. Not El. Don't blow her cover, lmao.

???
Please tell me there was a scene of El looking for Will in the void before she lead them to the Byers' house.
Although, the angst would be fucking delicious. Honestly, I feel like Will would forgive her. But Mike would crash tf out if El was actually the one who opened the door.
What I mean when I say that Mike is heavily associated with opening doors. Whenever there's a door that needs to be opened and Mike is present... there's a 90% chance he is the one opening it, or at least trying to.
Mike is the key to Will's heart and to saving Hawkins...
Who’s interrupting next time? I bet on Lucas or Nancy 🤷♀️

Ok so that door in the teaser what if that’s Mike’s bedroom door and in the scene he opens the door and then there’s his closet door right behind it.
Anyway he has to go through there to get Will out of something and he’s forced to deal with his internalised homophobia and then they both come out together/separate depending on the situation
And it’s like a Scooby doo episode or something
