ok here is lore about amy's grandmother fortuna:

Fortuna Rose is the 72-year-old paternal grandmother of Amy Rose. She is a retired fortune teller who currently serves as Amy's caretaker and legal guardian since she turned four following the disappearance of her father Graham as Amy's mother Cecilia died in childbirth. Due to her age, she walks with a cane to move around (the cane is a swan neck because T handles PISS ME OFF. PERIOD.), with the cane having various rose and tarot card embroidery.

While she's kind but firm, she also likes scaring people with her telepathy powers, which immediately catches people off guard whenever she first uses it on them. She wasn't born with these powers, but gained them after trading her blood with a mystical being named Xanadu in the hot Egyptian desert on one of her travels at the age of 22, 5 years prior to giving birth to Graham. Even though she didn't stop her fortune telling career even after starting her family, following Amy's birth, she officially resigned.
