Making a ranty blog post but something I noticed while I'm trying to draw Fellow's doll is that compared to Rollo, Skully, and even his little brother, Fellow noticeably has more angular features compared to them.

Rollo and Skully have more softer facial features which can translate pretty easy to a more cutesy look (which probably explains why Skully and Gidel were pretty easy for me to draw in a doll scale and them being much younger than Fellow also doesn't help)

That's not to say it's impossible to balance that cute look for the fox as well as stay true to his appearance, but it is tricky plus the man basically THRIVES off of an asymmetrical silhouette so you have that to worry about too.

But, I think I got it

Wanting to make another ita bag despite you not working on one that's completely blank

I wanna make an ita bag of Malleus PERIOD

Currently trying to decide between these three styles

Things I realized while designing Skully's doll

1. Holy smokes Rollo has a lot of references for his council robes so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out a design for him especially if I'm designing the back of his clothes

2. Fellow's coat has a pretty simple look. It's just heavily embroidered so it's pretty safe to assume it might be a bit plain in the back (I swear though, if he did sew that by hand, I would be pretty impressed) but if I were to design a doll for Gidel, I think I might make him either a 10 or 15 cm doll for him due to him being a young boy and I want to capture that. Though admittedly, finding a way to make their hats fit is going to be hella annoying.

3. Not even cosplay companies can agree on what Skully's coat looks like from the back. Whenever I'm designing something that's supposed to represent a character, I usually prefer to make it as close to canon as possible. So it's a little annoying 😭

4. Make no mistake that despite Skully having a very monochrome look to him (and as a girl who wants to wear black and nothing but black 24/7 I stan) his outfit has a lot of texture from the haphazard stitches, the different fabric patterns like pinstripes, regular stripes, and swirls, the ripped jabot, sleeve cuffs, and coattails, even down to the ribbon ribs. One rule I learned with fashion is that if you have a monochrome outfit, texture will make an outfit stand out and HOO LAWDY DOES HIS OUTFIT STAND OUT!

Aside from Rosalie's little "Hometown Event". I thought of writing a little fic where it's basically a Lost in the Book story but with Winnie the Pooh.

Rosalie didn't have the happiest childhood and because of her past, she had to grow up quickly. She never really got to be a kid much but walking through the Hundred Acre Wood would really help bring that little sparkle of childlike wonder back to her that hardly anyone sees aside from when she dances.

Honestly, it would be the first time she's felt that sense of peaceful bliss she has never experienced and I think a little heart to heart with Pooh and friends would really help her so much.

Got some good news and some bad news

Bad news, I caught a cold and damn do I hate feeling sick and congested 😔

Good news, started working on Rollo's doll and almost finished with the first part of The Rose's Musings. Honestly I picture the series to be ongoing as long as guest characters keep coming in. They'll enter Ramshackle dorm one way or another lol 😂

Trying to send a package to a friendo's PO Box only to find out Buyee doesn't ship to PO boxes anymore so I sent it to my own address and having to send it to her through that

The OC x Canon urge I have to commission someone drawing Joanna lighting Fellow's cigar but I can't find the right freaking pose reference!

I named their ship name Bad Decisions for a reason and while both of them know that getting into a relationship with each other is probably the worst idea ever (especially with their younger siblings in particular being incredibly protective over them, Joanna having her heart betrayed and shattered over and over, and Fellow has a kid to take care of while they're running away from the law) I do want to keep that playful (hah) dynamic between them post playful land shenanigans and Birdman (SOMEHOW) falls for Fellow's silver tongue to get in for some remedial lessons for a mage's equivalent of a GED. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time he fell for a slick tongued Italian schemer (I swear Jamil's going to have beef with the entire country of Italy at this rate)

Fellow keeping that politician's smirk, trying to warn her to stay away from him while Joanna's retorting that smirk back with a grin that's enough to tell him,

"I'm not scared of a petty thief with a politician's smile. You should be more scared of my sister because one little slip from me and it's curtains for you, darling. It's a blessing and a curse to be Dire Crowley's beloved little servant."

Because Fellow and Gidel are staying at Ramshackle, Crowley tasked the girl and Grim to keep a close eye on them in case they perform their usual tricks and the two beastmen know this. They know Ro means her word and same with her sister so one little fuck up or they relapse to their old scheming habits, they're immediately getting kicked out with no ifs, ands, or buts
