I think, for the ship kiss meme, 18 or 30 would work for Dorothy x Scarecrow, but if one sparks your imagination more, please do that one. Also, I’ve been working on that fanfic I mentioned, and it’s coming along nicely (it’s very wholesome, so I think you’ll like it). Anyways, keep being awesome!

Takes place during the first Oz book

Dorothy came to slowly and with great reluctance.

For a moment she forgot what had happened, and when she woke up being held by the Scarecrow-she just thought it was an ordinary morning.

She leaned into him, rubbing her face against his chest. He was much comfier than the pillow she had back in Kansas.

Scarecrow jolted in place when Dorothy snuggled into him, and he let out a relieved sigh: “Thank goodness! You’re okay…”

With those words she remembered what had happened. Emerald City had been in their sights, all they had to do was cross a field of poppies. Dorothy furrowed her brow, her memory was fuzzy, she could only remember walking through the field for a few moments.

Scarecrow noticed her confusion, “You, Lion, and Toto fell asleep. I think the poppies are too blamed.”

Her head still heavy with sleep Dorothy tried to lift it. She spotted Toto sprawled next to Scarecrow, belly exposed as he snored. She couldn’t see Lion.

Once again Scarecrow knew what she was thinking, “He’s still in the field. You and Toto were easy to carry out but him…Tin’s out there trying to figure out how we can get him out.”

As she slowly regained her full consciousness she really the arms holding her were shaking. Dorothy patted one of the gloves hands. “Don’t worry, Scarecrow. We’ll get Lion out.”

He looked down at her, it was magical how his painted on eyes showed so much human emotion. “I was scared… When you fell down, I didn’t know what happened. I-I didn’t know if you’d get back up.”

Understanding and affection had her pushing her body up into a sitting position. “Aw,” she wrapped her arms around his neck. “Thank you for worrying about me. I’m fine, don’t you worry.” She kissed his cheek to comfort him before snuggling against the burlap of his head. She had always liked the texture growing up.

She didn’t mind that Scarecrow tightened his shaky grip around her.

I noticed that Dove and Aerrow's ship doesn't have a ship name like Dark Lightning or Crystal Trust.

I tried to find one but I couldn't find any ship names for those two so I decided to make one myself . . so this is 👇
