I know bg3 is the more popular game but Sebille from divinity original sin 2 deserves some more attention. I feel like she was proto-Astarion: a chaotic and initially seemingly cruel elf who you soon learn has endured immense pain and trauma from a life of slavery and torture, who can slowly open up and become more vulnerable and genuine with time and trust. I genuinely enjoyed Sebille’s arc so much and various paths her character can take on an origin run particularly. Plus she’s a supremely tall woman who is (according to DOS2 elf lore) something like part tree.

A break from my Batman posting to scream about this INCREDIBLE GAME 🥹

I finished Divinty 2 for the first time ever this year (playing as Ifan) and a game hasn’t moved me quite THIS much in ages. I thought they’d cooked with baldurs gate 3 until I played divinity 2.

This game had me ascending like Ifan 🫩🫵💖

I love my elf wife, my skeleton boyfriend and my demonic baby girl. Please play this game
