He felt his magic spread in him, like electricity coursing through his veins. The power washed over him, a tingling in his spine, a pull in his gut. He opened his eyes, gazing at the people who thought they could contain him. Lightning danced between his fingertips as he stepped over the lines of the circle. Amateurs.
Summary: Annaliese doesn't win the fight against Percy, but perhaps, she’ll win the war against the gods.
Note: This is a Dark!Percy AU obviously, where Percy is fed up with the gods and their behavior. Annaliese is just a character I made up to fight Percy. And you will probably notice that I used lines from this fantastic post because its what inspired me. Also, I know for me, at least, that I am posting this one 8/11/19 12;19 am PDT. I has some troubles writing this because I was stuck on knowing what to write exactly and I had some internet issues. So sorry about that but I got it done! Whoo!

She’s heard the stories about him, everyone has. Once, they were told with loud praises and vigorous cheers. Now they’re whispered in shadows and with darting glances. People once approached him, eager to talk to him, to ask for help, to just see him. Some of her older siblings, and some of the older campers, tell the stores of his heroic deeds, he wasn’t always a monster. She tried getting every scrap of intel from the older campers, from Chiron, hell even Mr. D! But nothing could have prepared her for this.
This being cradled in his arms from when she collapsed, him softly stroking her hair, and humming some tune that seemed familiar. Her body hurt, hurt so much. She wanted to sleep for a week. And get some ambrosia.
“Shh, its alright.” He whispered. She looked up at him, watery eyes gazing into his. She’s never been so close to him. She can smell the sea, see his eyes churning like the ocean in a storm. “You’re doing amazing, darling. It was cruel of them to send you to fight me. You never would have won, its not your fault.” His calming voice oddly soothed her. Her bones felt too heavy, and her side throbbed, and she just wanted to sleep. Annaliese blinked her eyes open again, surprised that they had closed.
Percy’s face wasn’t as soft as it was before. It was harder, stone like. She felt a chill spread through her body as his seemingly glowed with rage. His hand clutched tighter to her body. This must be it. The moment where he finally kills her.
“This nice woman here, and her team, is going to escort you to the medical wing. Don’t worry about a thing, you will be cared for here.” Or not. She didn’t protest, mainly because she knew she needed it. She’ll figure it out later, later when she wasn’t exhausted, when she wasn’t potentially bleeding out, later when he wasn’t looking at her with those unnatural eyes and serious expression. The team picked her up and she was off.
Perseus Jackson stood and picked up his trident along the way. Twirling it in his hand he walked to the balcony that was off of the room where they were previously fighting in. He gazed over the land, noting the people running around, medical and soldiers.
“Sir?” Perseus tilted his head but did not look. “What do you wish to do now?” Perseus sucked in a breath, felt the breeze blow against him and gazed into the horizon. The sun was rising. He released it.
“Today marks the day the gods stop sending their children to fight their battles. Tomorrow,” he turns, a smirk on his face and eyes glinting dangerously. “We storm Olympus.”
Writer’s Month Day Seven! Today’s prompt is Sports.
Summary: Supernatural High School AU where Castiel is the yearbook photographer along with Charlie and he needs to get pictures of the soccer team for the final game of the season, and he might have a major crush on the star player, Dean.
Word Count: 1951 (this is a long one)
Castiel carefully grips his camera around his neck as he jogs towards the soccer field. The game starts in twenty minutes and he needs to get a picture before the sun goes down. It’s the last game of the season, everyone is hyped, and the team has the homefield advantage. Charlie wants to get a before and after shot of them, so Castiel needs to get there now.
The team is thankfully on the field already and he makes his way over to the coach. Bobby looks up from his clipboard as he approaches, and he holds up his camera in response. He’s already told Bobby what he needed so all he does is blow his whistle and Castiel flinches.
“Boys! Get over here!” It takes a minute or two before all of them are gathered around the pair. He catches Dean’s eye and he gives Castiel a blinding smile. Castiel looks away, face flushing a bit. “Castiel here needs to get your picture so line up. You know what to do.” As he waits, he spots Charlie over with the cheerleaders and he refrains from rolling his eyes. She’s supposed to be doing the same thing as him, but he knows she’s just flirting. He looks back to the team and gestures for Bobby to join them. He rolls his eyes but does so.
He takes a couple steps away and starts snapping pictures, he promises them that if he gets a couple serious ones, they can do goofy ones. Once he gives the go ahead one person immediately jumps on another’s back, another has one in a faux choke hold and many have sprouted bunny ears. He shakes his head but snaps the pictures. Most of them change poses and when he’s done, they crowd around him to see. Dean all but pushes right up against him, throwing an arm over his shoulders and heat seeps into his shoulders.
“These are great Cas!” Dean smiles that smile again and Castiel can’t stop himself from smiling back.
“Thank you, Dean.”
“You’re gonna be a famous photographer one of these days. Just you wait.” Castiel chuckles and looks away from him to make sure that no one will drop his camera.
“That’s very kind of you.” He replies.
“Take the compliment Cas. You’re fantastic.” He ruffles Castiel’s hair and then he’s off, calling the rest of the team to get back to warming up.
Castiel walks over to the benches where the team sits, dropping his bag next to one end and going through the pictures again. He’s already choosing which ones he should use and how to edit them a bit. The lighting and cropping could be better. He rechecks his memory once again, just to make sure that he has enough room for the rest of the game.
He walks over to Charlie who he knows for sure is flirting because he can hear the giggles from the cheerleaders. She barely spares him a glance as he comes to stand right next to her.
“So, they’re doing a marathon of the Star Wars movies at the theatre, you only have to pay a little bit more but going will be totally cool. I’m friends with one of the ushers and he said that refills on popcorn and drinks will be free. You want to join me?” The cheerleader she’s talking to looks totally enamored and Castiel holds back a snort.
“Totally! Sounds really fun. Is it this weekend?”
“Yep!”
“Hold on.” She quickly runs to her bag and Charlie sends a smile to Castiel and Castiel only shakes his head. She comes back holding a pen and Charlie diligently holds her arm out for her. The cheerleader writes her number and parts with a text me. Castiel leads Charlie back to where he’s set his stuff.
“What’s her name?”
“Anna. And she’s only doing cheerleading because of her mom and she’s totally awesome. She like Star Wars and Star Trek and it a total art nerd. I think I’m in love.”
“You always think that.”
“It’s just…” Charlie sighs dramatically. “Girls are so easy to love. Besides, enough about my love life.”
“You mean we’re not gonna talk about your love life? Oh, the horror!” Charlie playfully shoves him.
“I’m talking about your love life.”
“What? Like how nonexistent it is?” Charlie scoffs.
“Its not nonexistent! You definitely have something going on with Dean.” Castiel huffs.
“Will you drop this already?”
“Never.” Castiel sighs, running a hand through his hair. “He’s completely over the moon for you. I don’t think there’s a thing he wouldn’t do for you. All you’d have to do is bat your lashes and pout and he’ll do it without question.”
“He would not!” Charlie gives him a look.
“Mmhm.” They settle onto the bench and Castiel hands her his camera so she can look at the pictures. “These are good. I’m thinking we can even use one of the goofy ones in the back of the book.” They devolve into talking about the yearbook and how it’s going to be organized.
Castiel settles down when the game starts, and Charlie runs off to see if she can get decent pictures of the players as they play for the first half. Castiel brings out his phone, content to just scroll through social media until halftime. He cheers when everyone else does though and does look up from time to time to watch.
He shuts his phone off when he sees a post talking about fucking pennywise erotica and watches the game hoping that it’ll cleanse his mind. He’s already sent a link to Charlie anyways. His eyes almost immediately pick Dean out and he thinks back to what Charlie said.
Dean and he met when Dean needed tutoring in his English class because he needed to keep his grades up. Ever since then, they’ve practically been inseparable. Hanging out at each other’s houses, hanging out after games, playing videogames. Its been fun, being with Dean. But he’s not over the moon with him. Definitely not.
At that moment Dean runs by. He winks at Castiel and gives him a little wave before running back off again. Castiel thinks back to every time Dean did something like this. Every time the team won a game they went to get pie if they could, he almost always waved when Castiel was watching the games, he let him win in video games sometimes, he fixed his bike for him, drove for two hours just to get doughnuts from Castiel’s favorite place on his birthday, let him cry his heart out when Castiel’s parents got into yet another fight which had his mother storming out, giving him these looks like he’s Dean’s whole world. Okay, he might be over the moon with him. And Castiel might be over the moon for him too. He doesn’t know what to do with this information.
Two minutes till halftime Charlie sits back down. Her hair is now in a ponytail and she gives him a look as she drinks from her water bottle
“Why do you look like you just discovered the secret to the universe but then wished immediately for ignorance?”
“How do you even come up with this stuff?” Charlie shrugs and takes another drink. “Besides the point, you’re right oh my god.”
“I’m always right. But what am I right about now?”
“Dean likes me.” Charlie gives him a deadpan look.
“Congratulations! You’re officially the last to know. You just now figuring this out?”
“I am having a crisis here Charlie!”
“So, ask him out at half time.”
“Absolutely not!”
“Okay, okay,” Charlie holds her hands up in a placating gesture. “You’re right, he’ll probably be in such a dazed state he’ll throw the second half.”
“Charlie!” The stands erupt into cheers and they both look back to the game. Adam just scored a goal. Charlie claps and lets out a whoop that has Castiel cringing.
“Cas, listen. Gather every last drop of courage you have in you and ask Dean out on a date. For the love of god, one of you do it soon or I’m going to just lock you both in a closet, you hear me?” Castiel nods, fully believing she will. The horn goes off and they both jump and turn back to the game once again. The teams run off the field over to their benches.
Dean comes over minutes later, a towel around his shoulders and water bottle in hand.
“Hey Cas.”
“Hello Dean.” Charlie looks between them, gives Castiel a pointed look and walks off. Dean takes her place, leaning his shoulder against Castiel’s.
Dean takes a sip from his water bottle. “You okay?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Its just when I looked over a couple minutes ago you looked like you were about to throw up. Like you realized you completely forgot you had a test tomorrow and didn’t study at all.” Dean chuckles.
“You should really be watching the game not me.” He turns and hopes he’s giving Dean his best stern look.
“Well I apologize that I just can’t keep my eyes off of you.” Castiel sucks in a breath.
“Dean, I was wondering if-”
“Dean! Coach needs us!” One of the players, James, comes running up and Dean gives Castiel an apologetic look. Castiel doesn’t know whether to be relived or annoyed.
“Sorry Cas, later alright? I gotta jet!”
“No one says that anymore!” He calls out to Dean’s retreating back. He looks over to where Charlie is, easily spotting her with her vibrant red hair. She looks like she’s about to murder someone.
-
There’s a minute left on the clock and they’re tied. Both him and Charlie, and like everyone else, they’re on the edge of their seats. Charlie is actually biting her nails, glancing from the clock to the players. Saying the time every now and then.
Their team has the ball. It gets passed from player to player. Five seconds are left on the clock and when Cas looks back, the ball is getting kicked and then Dean doing a fucking jump kick or something like that and it- it goes in the goal! The stands erupt into cheers and the horn goes off. Charlie and Castiel are out of their seats, screaming and clapping with everyone else.
The team swarms Dean, they’re jumping around, hugging him, and shouting. He’s lifted up and he fist pumps the air while grinning. Charlie is already snapping shots and Castiel and Dean make eye contact. Dean’s grinning and so is Castiel. He feels so happy and proud that his legs are moving before he can process it. Castiel sees his mouth move but doesn’t here him but he’s being put down moments later. Castiel doesn’t stop, breaking into a jog and Dean pushes past his teammates.
Castiel all but tackles him, jumping up and wrapping himself around Dean and he easily catches him.
“You fucking won!” Castiel shouts.
“We won!” Dean shouts back. He adjusts his grip so both hands are holding Castiel’s thighs. Castiel leans back so he can look at Dean’s face. He’s sweaty and flushes, dirt on the side of his face and he fucking reeks- but Castiel doesn’t care. Dean’s face is split into a grin, eyes crinkling and practically sparkling. He doesn’t hesitate and smashes his mouth against Dean’s. Dean’s still for a moment before eagerly responding. Castiel is the first to break away.
A wide smile is on his face as he takes in Dean surprised and breathless face. “Go out with me. Please?” Dean huffs out a laugh and kisses him again.
Writer’s Month Day Sixteen! Today's prompt is Soul Mates
Summary: Tony comes to the conclusion that he and Stephen are platonic soulmates.
Word Count: 99
“You know, Stephen, we’re both geniuses, both snarky, and both have tragic backstories.” Tony looks over to where Stephen is sitting on the couch. “You’re like my platonic soulmate.” Without looking up from his book, Stephen responds.
“Honey, we’re married.” A smile stretches across Tony’s face. He gets up out of his chair and goes to the couch. He forces himself to lay on Stephen’s lap. “Tony-”
“And as my husband you have to cuddle me.” Tony settles himself and so does Stephen. He runs a hand through Tony’s hair, a small smile on his own face.
Writer’s Month Day Eight! The prompts for today is Colors
Summary: Tony needs to escape the tower and goes to Clint’s apartment.
Word Count: 1385
Tony let out a sigh as he raises his hand to knock on the door. The music from the apartment cuts off so he knocks again. He only had to wait a couple of moments before the door swung open. Tony looked Clint over, he had paint all over his clothes and a swatch of paint on his forehead. Tony raised an eyebrow.
“What are you doin’ here man?”
“I needed to escape the tower. Can I come in?” Clint opened the door wider and stood aside.
“Anything I need to be worried about?”
“Armageddon isn’t going to happen if that’s what you mean. I’ve been in endless board meetings because of the new launch, I need to have like a dozen new designs and upgrades, and I haven’t slept a full night in like four days so everything is sort blurring together. So, I thought who is the one person who will not make me think of SI?”
Clint closed the door and lent against it. “And you came up with me.” Tony shrugged his shoulders.
“Yep.” Tony looked around the apartment. All the furniture was moved to the middle of the room and had tarps over them. Tarps were also on the ground along with paint buckets and brushes. “So, you’re painting your apartment?” He looked at the half-painted wall and the opened bucket. “Purple?” Clint shrugged, an easy smile spreading across his faced.
“Yep! I figured why not? I like purple and these pale yellow walls were driving me insane. And Nat talked me down from painting all of it purple so now it’s just what she called the ‘accent wall’.” Clint snorted. “I’m gonna paint the rest of the walls a nice white and then I think I’m gonna paint my bedroom a steel blue because I thought the color looked cool.” Clint looks down at Tony’s hand which is taping a rhythm on his thigh. He looked back up to Tony’s face. “You wanna help?”
“Sure.” Clint moves to get a brush and Tony takes off his suit jacket, tie, and dress shirt so he’s only in his undershirt and pants of course. “What do you want me to do?”
“You can help me finish painting this wall.” Clint offers a paintbrush and Tony dips it in the tray then kneels down so he can do the bottom. Clint turns the music back on and picks up his roller brush.
After a couple minutes of silence between the two Clint speaks.
“Do you ever get the urge to just stick your hand in the paint?”
“All the time.”
“So… should I?” Tony glances up at Clint.
“Depends, are you ready to have paint on your hand for the next couple of days?”
“Dude, I’ll be a new hero. ‘Purple Fist!’” Tony shakes his head and smiles.
“Yeah and the internet will go crazy.”
“If it means I’ll get some media attention so be it.” Clint places his roller down and squats next to the bucket of paint. Tony turns to look, his smile falling off his face.
“You’re not going to actually dip your hand-” Clint sticks his hand in the paint. “Oh my god.” Clint looks back over at Tony a smile spreading across his face.
“You only live once baby!” He takes his hand out, lets the excess dip off and then slaps his hand against the wall. The paint splatters a bit, getting on the wall, floor, and Clint. Clint laughs, like a child that just realized how fun it is to knock over block towers. He continues to put his hand on the wall, the paint fading every time.
“You are crazier than I thought.” Clint rolls his at him.
“I call it… having a break from sanity.” Tony raises an eyebrow.
“That is one way to put it.” Clint crouches next to the bucket again.
“Besides, isn’t that why you came over?” Clint flicks his fingers at him and some paint lands on him. Tony slowly reaches up and drags his finger over where he can feel the cool paint. When he brings his finger back its purple. He looks back over at Clint who’s looking more and more nervous as he continues to just stare at him.
“You know what? That’s exactly why.” Before Clint can say, or do, anything he strikes forward, swiping his brush against Clint’s cheek and down to under his chin. Its Clint’s turn to feel shocked but moments later he’s retaliating, surging forward to drag his hand over Tony’s face. Tony squawks and moves away, Clint’s hand only getting the side of his head instead of his face.
“Oh its on bird brain.” Tony moves to strike again but Clint is already moving away, picking up his own brush in his non-purple hand.
Tony all but collapses on the floor and Clint follows right next to him. Both of them are breathing heavily and covered in paint. They turn to face each other, and Clint is the first to laugh. It sets Tony off and he’s clutching his stomach as tears run down his face. Clint is hollering, his laughter easily heard over the music as he rolls around.
They settle down minutes later, reduced to just chuckles. They come back to lay side by side and turn to face each other once again.
“Sorry ‘bout your clothes.” Clint says. Tony shrugs.
“Meh, I didn’t like these pants anyway.” Tony has an easy smile on his face. “Sorry about your hair.” Clint runs a hand through it.
“Don’t worry about it. You think it’s a good color on me?”
“I think you can pull off just about anything. It’s the confidence that counts.” Clint nods sagely.
“Ah. ‘Cause I have a lot of that.” Tony lightly swats his arm.
“You do! It’s more like a ‘I don’t give a fuck’ kind of confidence.” Clint laughs again.
“Thank you for clearing that up for me.” They fall silent and Clint turns his head to face Tony again.
“Well, I am a genius.” Clint kicks him in the shin and then pushes himself up. He looks over his apartment. There’s purple everywhere. It a good thing he likes the color. Tony pushes himself up on his elbows and Clint looks over at him again. He’s got a small smile on his face and purple just about anywhere. His hair is sticking up from the paint and he looks so much more relaxed than when he first came in. He’s probably the most beautiful he’s ever been.
“What’re thinking about? Cause if it’s the mess, I’m certainly going to help you clean it up since I also helped make it-”
“I’m thinking about how gorgeous you are.” That stops Tony in his tracks and his eyes widen. Clint slowly, as to make sure that Tony knows what he’s about to do and stop him, moves and throws a leg over Tony’s waist and straddles him. He places his hand on either side of Tony’s head and leans down. “I’m think about how much I want to kiss you.” Tony hasn’t said anything, but he hasn’t shoved him off. “Can I?”
“God yes.” And that’s all it takes for him to lean down and connect his lips with Tony’s.
It’s a bit awkward at first and Clint has drying paint on the corner of his mouth, but Tony doesn’t seem to care as he tilts his head. Clint leans his weight on one hand and puts the other on the back of Tony’s head and grips the hair there because just about having the best kiss of his life and his stomach is doing flips and he’s kissing Tony Stark.
Tony then quickly pushes up right and grabs Clint’s sides and he breaks the kiss to let out a yelp. He wraps his arms around Tony’s shoulders. Tony chuckles against his mouth and smirks.
“I’ve been wanting to do that since the day you threw a handful of pinecones at Steve’s head.” Clint laughs as he remembers the memory. Tony flexes his fingers and adjusts his grip which has Clint letting out another, smaller yelp. Tony leans back with a surprised expression on his face as Clint freezes. Pure glee spreads across Tony’s face as horror takes on Clint’s.
“You were- what?” Tony’s face is the perfect mixture of confusion, annoyance, exasperation, and a bit of anger. James rubs the back of his neck.
“Well, I was trying to bake a cake and I set a timer and everything! It’s just- apparently I didn’t hear it and it got burnt and-”
“And you almost burnt my house down.” Tony finishes. James raises an eyebrow.
“Can this place even burn down?” Tony plants his hands on his hips and glares at him, the corner of his mouth twitching.
“Not the point. Why were you even trying to make a cake in the first place?” James looks down at the floor.
“For… you.”
“For me? Why?”
“Well you were telling me how you finally got the prothesis line rolling and you were so happy and excited, and this is a great thing Tony! I wanted to, I guess celebrate. It was just a thought.” Tony’s smile is soft as he comes and rests a hand on James’ cheek.
“That is very nice of you and I very much appreciate the effort. But maybe you shouldn’t be left alone to bake. Hell, Vision was better than this.” James grimaces, his turn to glare at the other man.
“We are not telling anyone about this.” The glint in Tony’s eyes makes him want to groan.
“Oh, I am so telling everyone about this, the great Winter Soldier, the greatest assassin in forever, can’t bake a fucking cake.”
Summary: After a long mission all Shepard wants to do is shower and sleep. But even the littlest things get complicated.
This is Nihlus lives AU bc fuck bioware I do what I want
Word Count: 341
“I can’t wait to take a shower. I have sweat, dirt, and blood all over me.” Shepard stated. She brought a hand up to her neck and rubbed at the knot that was there.
“I just want to sleep for the next forty-eight hours.”
“What you’re talking about is a coma.”
Nihlus shrugged, “So be it.” He walked up to the receptionist counter while Shepard plopped down in one of the chairs. She got a dirty look form an asari, but she honestly couldn’t care. The latest mission really took it out of her. After a couple of minutes Nihlus nudged her foot and she opened her eyes.
“Come on.” She groaned as she stood and grabbed her bag. He handed her a key card and she put it in the pocket of her bag, not wanting to lose it to her clothes. Their room was on the third floor, room 316. It didn’t take long for them to find it and for Nihlus to slip his card in and open the door. Only to stop after flicking on the lights.
“Uhh, Nihlus?” She had half a mind to reach for her pistol as she side stepped him and saw what had him frozen. The bed. The one bed. Why did the universe hate her? “Fantastic.” Was her dry response. She looks over at him.
“I asked for two beds.” He stated. She sighs and throws her bag on the bed.
“I’m too tired and dirty to really care. A shower is only a couple of feet away from me and I don’t want to wait any longer. We can fix it tomorrow.” She grabs her clothes and shower supplies and enters the bathroom.
With the door locked and shower on she let her hair down and began to strip. It wasn’t that big of a deal. Only one night and they were both adults. It would be fine. Totally. It wasn’t like she was crushing after her mentor or anything. Not at all.
Prompts: Bed Sharing/ “I’m not drunk enough for this.” / Soulmates @winteriron-week
I choose Bed Sharing for today’s prompt
Word Count: 615
“When was the last time you slept?” Tony slowly looked over to the owner of the voice.
“Uh… I had a really long blink… a while ago.” Bucky closed his eyes and sighed, running a hand through his hair.
“Tony…” Tony cringed and turned to look back at the workbench he was at. He prepared for the lecture, the patronizing tone. Instead he felt something cool on the back of his neck. He jumped at first, but then settled when he realized it was Bucky’s metal hand. He released a sigh and leaned into the touch.
“You’re workin’ yourself too hard.”
“The team needs-”
“The team needs you functional and well rested, not sleep deprived.” Bucky sat down next to him, hand still on his neck but now gently stroking the hairs there. “The team doesn’t want nor need you running yourself into the ground like this. You don’t have to. Not anymore.” Tony hangs head.
“Every time I close my eyes, I see that vision. But instead of the others, its you guys. Rhodey, Carol, fucking Peter.” Tony released a shaky breath. “…You.” Bucky felt his heart tighten.
“Oh Tony.” Bucky whispers. He wraps his other arm around him and draws him in for a hug. Tony tenses for a moment but let’s himself be held.
They sit there, simply basking in each other’s presence, with Bucky running a hand through Tony’s hair and whispering comforts. After a while, when Tony has run out of tears, Bucky speaks.
“Come on, lets get you to bed.”
“But…”
“No buts. You need sleep, and some water.” Bucky carefully picks him up and Tony lets out a yelp. He instinctually wraps his legs around his waist, arms coming up to his shoulders.
“Bucky!”
“Yes?” At Bucky’s faux innocent face and wide smile, Tony rolls his eyes, already knowing protesting won’t help. And if he actually likes being carried by him, well. He’ll just keep that to himself. Bucky carries them out of the lab, trusting FRIDAY to save whatever Tony was working on and to shut down the lab.
Once in Tony’s room he gently sets Tony down on the bed, taking a step back and placing his hands on his hips.
“Go get ready for bed.” With a roll of his eyes and a muttered “yes mom.” Tony stands and walks into his bathroom. Bucky quickly exists the room, grabs a water bottle from the kitchen and makes it back when Tony exists his bathroom. He’s changed into boxers a fresh t-shirt. “Drink, you need to rehydrate.” Tony silently takes the water bottle and at Bucky’s raised eyebrow he obliges. He does have to admit that the water does feel nice.
“Thanks for doing this Bucky, but-”
“Nope. I don’t want to hear that word again tonight.” Bucky grabs the water bottle and places it on the nightstand. Afterwards he takes off his shoes, and then his jeans, ignoring how is stomach flips. He looks back up at Tony, realizing he’s blushing. Bucky quickly looks away and pushes back the covers of the bed. He settle and then looks at Tony expectedly.
“We’re going to share the bed?” He answers with a silent nod. Tony shakes his head and before he knows it, he’s pushing back the covers too and sliding in. “You super soldiers. Always crazy.”
“I’ll take that as a compliment darling.” Tony’s too tired to stop the smile that tugs at his lips and lets himself be drawn into Bucky’s chest. He settle his arm on Bucky’s waist and nestles his face against Bucky’s neck. “I’ll keep the nightmares away.” Bucky mumbles.
“What, with your mother hen-ness and murder stare?”
