HEHE. I know you've found it now, but for everyone else's benefit: just don't win too early!! I think it's now roughly in the sixth / seventh game. (It's in the update that'll go out to the public on the 21st)

Also, I've now added an option for MC to REALLY fight with their doubles partner. Just for the folks who like being combatant. Also, inspired by JBento on the COG forums, who really does want to beat Rayyan up.

How do you get to be tobin double partner in the end?

Partnering Tobin 101

1. You say you prefer Tobin to anyone who will listen (ok or just to yourself - that works too)

2. Tobin offers to be your partner

3. You say OK cool 👍

4. You grab dinner at their place (not compulsory but just hopefully fun- next update)

5. You convince coach on Monday (next update)

6. Coach says yes. (Maybe- next update)

Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 you now have Tobin as your partner!!

hey! love this if & js wanted to ask if its possible to beat deepal? & what would get us assigned to partner tobin in doubles, because i always get rayyan. thanks <333

Heya! It's not possible to beat Deepal (only get a set off of them) currently but MC will get a rematch sometime before fall break (game time), which may be 2-3 updates later.

Yes, there are stats that I check (mainly related to your rank on the team, and whether you won/lost the doubles matches, and with whom)!

Do we have to be doubles partners with certain ROs to get the most content with them? Just curious bc my MC’s romancing Rayyan but I actually might prefer their doubles dynamic with Tobin (also think it’d be delicious to see Rayyan’s thoughts on MC switching partners hehehe)

You definitely will get more content with whoever you choose to partner. But CT:OS is (I hope) a game as much about strong friendships as they are about romance, so I encourage you to go with whomever you want, and of course experiment with different playthroughs I guess!

If Imma write two whole branches for Tobin and Rayyan being MC's doubles partner, then I'm for sure hoping people will get lots of replay-ability from that! :)

((And yes, I can definitely see a platonic Tobin doubles partner + Rayyan romance storyline work out! :D In fact, it sounds very cute!))
