Thinking about the different merch they would probably have for Phantom. What do you guys think a Phantom candle would smell like? I don't mean in the meme sense like teenage angst or dying childhood dreams or regret (granted there are candles like that and it would be funny). Like actual smells. I'm thinking peppermint/eucalyptus because ice core. Is there like a petrichor version of, like, cold smell? I think that would be accurate. Or like the candle version of green limeade because ectoplasm/toxic green.

You know that in fics there's some kind of store selling Phantom merch? Of course, I could just base it on real-life merch. But I'm thinking more along the lines of; someone starts up a bracelet/keychain making business and Phantom colors are the most popular. Phantom t-shirts, backpacks, cups, jackets, posters. And Danny himself didn't actually agree to any of it. Maybe he's flattered if they're good and they're made by younger fans in his age range or a ghost who genuinely loves the craft. Maybe he's a smug bastard about it and shoving it in his friends and adversaries faces alike. Maybe he's outraged if some big corporation (maybe DALV CO) starts using his likeness without permission or makes an unflattering caricature. (The dead have rights too damnit!!) Maybe he doesn't even realize until almost everyone in town and maybe even some ghosts already has some kind of merch and is baffled by it.

Maybe the merch becomes prohibited, because he's technically a fugitive and his schoolmates have to hide their stalls whenever the GIW or the Fentons (because it's always a disaster with them, government ordained or not) or even their teachers come around. Maybe it's a whole underground thing.

And anyway that's one of the things addressed in Casper High Cult. (Shameless self promo) Coming to theaters (fanfic platforms) near you... at some point.

I was being fr about the candle thing tho. Should I hold a vote for that?
