We had this #Honda #crv in for a #dpf clean & diagnostics as the dpf warning light had come on a couple of times. After carrying out a manual pressure reading, smoke test and live data check it was found that there was no faults? We called the customer for some more info and subsequently found the fault... the low tyre pressure warning had been on for several weeks!!! This error had prevented the vehicle from carrying out its own regen and caused the light to come on. This was Ryan’s Citroen relay that had been having DPF issues for some time and now wouldn’t accelerate over 30mph! We diagnosed the fault to be the pressure sensor giving inaccurate readings and the diesel dosing pump being inoperative... after replacing these items we could then read the dpf values which showed that it had failed to regen 60 times and that there was 44grams of soot in the filter! After performing our patented Terraclean dpf clean we reduced the soot level down to just 5 grams and managed to successfully do a passive regen👍 afterwards the vehicle is out of limp mode and accelerating as it should. #dpf #ellesmereport #terraclean #fixed #dpfclean #dpfproblems #wirral #citroen #relay (at NW Auto Services Ltd, Cheshire)
