If you're like me, you will have always thought that Dr. Pomatter sounded, looked and acted familiar and you just couldn't figure out why...

I just did.

He reminds me of John Mulaney.

Newsies-Waitress!Au

(So, I’ve been between Newsies and Waitress all day, so here we go. let’s mash em together)

So, The cast

Jack-Jenna. Obvious, I know, but it had to be done. I can’t think of anyone else who I haven’t already cast, and both of em want to start over and escape, and have a passion for something.(Trans boy for obvious reasons of course)

Dawn-Davey. My little anxious beans. Of course Davey wouldn’t have dated before cause he was to worried about it, and just, Any of the Davey’s singing when he sees me would be a complete and utter gem.

Becky-Race. Tough but can be sweet. Also, I didn’t plan it. Just, yesssss.

Cal-Spot. This is both the toughness and Sprace

Joe-Medda. Take it from an old gal instead of old man. So sweet, would totally want a pie named after her. ‘The only thing I own is the mortgage.’

Dr.Pomatter-Specs. Now listen, I don’t ship them in the slightest, but Specs is just, yes, he would so be a doctor in a modern au, and they’re both sweet and would be that shy sort of life. IT was him or Davey and Davey was the perfect Dawn, so yeah. Which brings me to the next one.

Ogie(Idk if I spelled that right, lemme know)- Romeo. Hopeless romantic. Clingy af, totally humorous. Again, same with above,i don’t ship him with Davey  but it made so much sense.

Earl(Oh how I loathe thee earl)- Oscar Delancey. Nuff said.

Bonus: Lulu-Crutchie. Because he is the fandom child.
