A preemptive sketch for some zutoine stuff. I have lots of boards for the comic I wanna make, but I really need to start using my tablet instead of my iPad. I may dump the sketches here in one post then switch to the tablet.

I’m not much of a writer and I’ll admit as much as I love Antoine and Xu together, I see little to go off of?

But I’ll give it a shot:

- Antoine is big on holding hands and kissing and hanging on Xu’s arm, but Xu is a little shy about it in public. He does it anyway and sometimes overcompensates, leaving them both a little embarrassed.

- Xu gives out tons of little compliments and is super affectionate, making Antoine feel pampered. It comes naturally to him, and Antoine loves it. He’ll gush about how smooth Antoine’s hands are, how neat his hair is today, etc.

- Antoine always tries to help and do little favors around for Xu, especially if Phyllis is busy! He’s used to busy work and always wants to make it easier for the doctor and tries to throw in a bouquet of roses along with whatever herbs he needs.

- Antoine is Xu’s mini stylist. He’ll fix Xu’s coat and ruffle his hair up, then smooth down his sleeves to hold his hands. Xu will fidget a little and look in appreciation, and finish the routine with a kiss on the forehead.

- Xu worries about Antoine’s health (he’s a little skinny) and tries to get him to eat new things, and blabs about health benefits of food on dates. I dunno how much of a cook either is, but both bring you food when you’re married I think, so there’s lots of packed lunches with sweet notes.

- They probably have discussions about medical things casually, as Antoine wants to be a nurse in the first place. I imagine they go on lots and lots of dates, having coffee at Martha’s or seated at the round table with Antoine scooched super close to Xu. Xu holds Antoine as he rests on his shoulder on the bench by A&G.

- Just a lot of... skin admiration, touching and softness. After work is done Antoine hikes up to the clinic to have some private time with Xu. It’s never very rough or hurried, but there’s lots of compliments and rubbing. A fix of the glasses, brushing hair away, running hands down up and down bodies, thumbs on cheeks. Pecks across faces and calculated removal of garments. Antoine likes to put on little shows for Xu when he strips or does..... other stuff (I don’t wanna get too nsfw)
