Although Fubuki was a Pro Duelist in his own right, he never received the attention others in his skill bracket had obtained. Placing first in a few minor tourneys, it was still a miracle whenever someone recognised him. Frankly, the whole Pro circuit wasn’t his thing; his enjoyment of the game was just that. It was entertainment, and not necessarily a means of glorifying himself [although he was certainly not against becoming famous].
That being said, even a virtual nobody like him had heard of Jack Atlas and could recognise him on sight. He was very pretty, and as a discerning fan of the aesthetically pleasing, Fubuki was half-tempted to approach the other man. But what did one say to one of Neo Domino’s best duelists? Ignoring that, would Jack even bother to listen to someone who looked like they’d just come back from an extended vacation in the tropics?
Duel Disk on one arm and ukulele propped up in his other, Fubuki made a decision, intending to play off a bump into one of the most famous duelists in Neo Domino as a cute accident and [hopefully] segue into small talk. So, here was to seeing if his charm worked as well on men as it did on women!
He wasn’t holding his breath, but it was worth a shot.
