“Literally the actual Dracula from the book when he goes out in his “lizard fashion” which we all know means climbing the walls like a lizard but we enjoy imagining he is either dressed up as a lizard or wearing fashionable lizard clothes” Mod Note: Originally submitted as ‘lizard fashion Dracula’ but I did not permit this as an official contender, as I found it hyperspecific. Nonetheless, quality propaganda.
“Since it’s movie idk if you’ll count him but he’s the original drama king. Invites a random realtor for shits and giggles (basically). Runs around at 10x speed to pretend he has servants. Lets his girls scare the guy just because, but don’t hurt him, he’s a guest :D here’s a baby. Turns Lucy into a vampire and just does nothing about it. Turns Mina into a vampire bc he knows she’s the one competent one (and it backfires). He’s just funny. To me”
“Why he’s a Dracula is that he’s (supposed to be) a continuation of the 30s one, and the footage they had Nic redo is pretty dang close (imo) [...] For why I’m just editing my prop. for the main bc I think it still holds up- Nic cage is just so dramatic? Really sells the whole creepy bit while still laying the movie be a little…camp? Not the right word but yeah. His design evolves from 3 different kinds of unsettling (although it does get less of the creep and more of the uncanny(?)) as he becomes more animalistic and deteriorates, which is so fun! The movie also shouts out Tumblr so that’s a plus. He also has more animal like teeth which I feel like draculas should do more actually. Love fangs, but it just adds that *umph* to it :)”
