Wanna know something crazy?

I wasn't expecting Draenyra to be liked. Originally, their relationship was very different until I changed it to what they have now:

Dror wasn’t going to be soft on her or respect her at all despite being married to her. Daenyra didn’t have the choice to marry him because her uncle was the one who arranged the marriage for an army, so he could take the throne of Drakoria. Dror only had her around to flex. The uncle still exists and still an ass. He doesn’t deal directly with Dror.

I kept a bit of that original dynamic at the beginning of their relationship. At the beginning, where Daenyra was captured by the goblins, Dror didn’t even see her as person and just assumed she was some weak princess until she proved him wrong. That’s when he slowly started respecting her and treating her like a person.

Day 5: Ideal Date

What type of date would they do? Who planned it (or did it just… happen)? What part of the date matters most to them?

Dror isn't the best at planning dates because he'd most likely would do hunting dates or a little pillaging. Daenyra is the one who plans the dates which can be a simple dinner to long walks at night as they talk. They both appreciate quality time together

Snippet Sunday

So sorry I’ve not been around as much, I’ve been doing other things but I do bring an offering

Daenyra returned to the goblin camp. Surprisingly there were some remaining goblins that were spared from the attack. The gate guard immediately recognized Daenyra.

“My queen…” the gate guard bowed. “I didn’t think ya would return. Ya up and went with those killers.”

“I’m no longer associated with them. But I came back, because I have this.” Daenyra said as she pulled out the resurrection scroll. “I need you to take me to Dror’s body, now!” Daenyra commanded.

“Oh…oh of course, my queen.” The gate guard replied. He leads her through the goblin camp. There were a few goblins cleaning up the massacre. They stopped their activities to watch Daenyra walk through the courtyard and go inside the fort. There were blood stains, rubble, and scorch marks from the fight. “We left ‘im in the throne room in the back. We didn’ wanna move ‘im.”

“Good. Because I would’ve had your heads.” Daenyra said. The gate guard stops at the broken door to the throne room.

“He’s all yours, my queen.” The gate guard said. Daenyra enters the throne room and sees Dror’s body on the platform. He laid in front of his broken throne, his body was untouched. Seeing him motionless on the floor, made Daenyra hurt all over again.

Daenyra clutched tightly onto the scroll before walking up to his body. She knelt down beside him and placed a hand on his cheek. “You’ll be reborn again, Dror.” She pulls her hand away before untying the ribbon on the scroll. She recites the spell then takes the magic straight to his chest. A blinding light filled the room.

“Daenyra.”

Daenyra and Dror’s wedding rings

Technically they don’t really wear any because their wedding wasn’t really a traditional one. Plus I doubt hobgoblins/goblins in general believe in wedding rings, but if it were possible these would be their wedding rings
