Lunara as a Flower

Lunara would be a moonflower, this is due to the fact she is a moon circle Druid and also it represents her home, Mooncrest Grove. The grove would only appear every full moon, similar to how moonflowers bloom at night

A drop into Lunara’s Lore (in honor of Mother’s Day)

Lunara’s name isn’t actually Lunara it’s actually Loretta. Nanril had no knowledge of it and called her Lunara because she was found during the full moon.

So the woman above is Lunara’s birth mother, her name is Juliana Beckridge, a noblewoman in Baldur’s Gate. She was the one who took Lunara into the woods and left her there. She prayed to any god to protect Lunara.

Juliana did what she did because of Lunara’s father, Douglen Beckridge who worships the archdevil Belial and planned to give Lunara away as an infant to him for power. Juliana didn’t leave anything behind for Lunara because she didn’t want her to come looking because of Douglen (the man below)

When Lunara met with Gortash, he mentioned she looked similar to Juliana. Lunara didn’t understand who he was referring to.

“You’re acting like I should know this woman.” She tells him. As soon as Gortash was about to answer, Juliana stepped forward. As soon as she got a closer look at Lunara, the realization hit her because Lunara had a resemblance to her

“Loretta? Could it truly be you?” She asked Lunara softly. Lunara looked at her like she was some stranger

“Loretta? I think you got me mistaken for someone else.” Lunara said. Juliana tried to reach for her but Lunara stepped back, confused. Juliana was a little heartbroken

“I’m your mother, Loretta.” She confessed. Lunara didn’t understand. Because Nanril, her adoptive mother had been present for all her milestones. She didn’t know how to reach with this strange noblewoman approaching her.

“My name isn’t Loretta, it’s Lunara.” Lunara corrected her. “My mother is Nanril, the Arch-Druid of Mooncrest.” This brought Juliana to tears. It made her regret not leaving anything behind for Lunara.

“I’m sorry, my mistake.” Juliana apologized, “I’ll be in my estate, west of Elfsong Tavern, when you’re ready.” She tells Lunara before she leaves.

Choice 1: If Lunara decides to go to the Beckridge Estate, she’ll be more accepting and learn the truth about her past. And it’ll lead to her facing off against her father. Who she doesn’t spare by the way

Choice 2: if Lunara didn’t go, she wouldn’t know about her past at all and will not face her father (basically locked out of her personal quest)

"cazador is one of those villains i love to hate bc he’s just so specifically vile. like there are bigger villains in bg3, there are flashier villains, there are probably even more fun villains depending on your taste, but cazador has a level of personal nastiness that really sticks. every single thing about him is awful in a way that makes astarion’s whole questline hit harder also i think it helps that he’s not charming enough to distract from what he is. he’s pathetic, smug, controlling, and deeply convinced he deserves absolute power over people weaker than him. and that makes him feel way more satisfying to take down than if the game had tried to make him seductive or cool. he’s just a disgusting little tyrant in a fancy house. perfect villain for that storyline honestly"

Snippet Sunday:

Haven’t made any progress with any of my Daenyra fics. So that’s why I’m posting here but here’s this story I’m working on where the grand design happens. I’ve only written the prologue so far in Lunara’s POV

Lunara’s pov

I was with my girlfriend, Karlach, as we walked the market within the lower city of Baldur’s Gate. Karlach had run into an old friend and was catching up with them. As they were talking, I had a terrible feeling in my gut. As if something disastrous was coming. I was standing in the middle of the busy market of Baldur’s gate, lost in my thoughts. The voices in the market slowly drowned out, which became background noise to me. Then I felt it, A vibration at my feet. I squat down and feel the ground with the palm of my hand. Definitely a vibration. The hidden nature within the city was sending me a warning, But of what?

I kept focusing on the vibration. Then I was hit with a sharp headache to a point I saw something. Nautiloids and Mindflayers were in the sky, the city of Baldur’s Gate was under siege. Amongst the chaos was the Elder brain.

The Grand Design is coming. She spoke. I was snapped out of the vision where Karlach was hovering over me. She had a look of concern. I was lying on the ground flat on my back

“Lu? Are you alright? You went unconscious and started to shaking, you weren’t responding.” Karlach explained.

“I’m fine. But there’s something coming. Something bad.” I replied, sitting up.

“Something bad? What do you mean?”

“The Mindflayers are coming. The Elder brain is here. This city is in danger.” I told her before standing up.

Today is my birthday! so that means it's also Lunara's birthday. I wanted to do a VP photo of Lunara having cake. I photoshopped in the satin and Cake, the cake originally had purple flowers so I changed them to blue. I tried my best to blend everything together

Fake cutscene (TW: sibling death)

The nautiloid crashed onto the beach and Nereida fell unconscious before waking up inside the crashed nautiloid. Fire was around her, she survived and she was free despite having some minor injuries.

Nei didn’t believe she was free at first, she thought it was a dream. When it finally settled in, she was happy. The happiest she’s since the last 2 years. However that changed when she saw the body of her sister Syrene, the last time she was with her sister was running from the mindflayers that invaded her home. Nei didn’t know the fate of her other sisters, her mother, or her tribe sisters. So Nei believed she was the only survivor of her tribe. Nei gave her sister a proper burial by taking her into the sea. Nei’s tribe worshipped Eldath (the Mother of the Waters), A neutral good goddess that pacifists and Druids worship.

Nei continued on hoping to find her mother and other sisters, unfortunately they were no where to be found. Until she came across the Mindflayer that captured her and put a tadpole into her head because it had an infatuation with her. Nei used her water magic to kill it. She believed death was too good for it but it satisfied for any needs of revenge. But killing it started her paranoia and nightmares of being captured by Mindflayers again since she knew they have a hive mind.
