the lord giveth (second born china player drafted) but the lord taketh more (marino to UTAH???, lauko to wild, holtz to vegas)
the draft is making me feel like i've had 6 iced coffees on an empty stomach
haven't really been paying attention to the draft (in fact didn't realize it was tomorrow until a few hours ago) but now i feel like there's a potential huge cbj trade looming over me. I'M SCARED.
So y’all know how that new draft bill has passed the house of representatives? I am so tired of hearing everyone over react about it.
For those who don’t know, here’s a small government lesson— to become a law, it has to pass both the house and the senate, THEN get signed in by the president.
A process that can take months to years depending on the issue.
Regardless, y’all do realize conscientious objections are still a thing? If your religious or moral believes go against war they will do accommodations. Either as non combative military personnel or assign you to a job in medical, child or elderly care, or weapons manufacturing ( there’s probably more but I don’t remember all options)
We don’t have to jump on the imprison us bandwagon. Honestly wouldn’t be your best bet, becoming a felon when their are other options, not a good look

It is finished.
