Hi. Sorry I forgot to mention my house that is Slytherin. My wand is beech wood, dragon heartstring core, 12 1/2 inch and reasonably supple flexibility.

Beech wands are beautiful, richly-hued wands known for their’ subtlety and artistry. This particular type of wand wood is drawn to wise and open-minded owners. This indicates that you are wise beyond your years, accepting of peculiarities, and an artist at heart. You are often sought after for advice, and many admire your insight and your awed, open-minded way of looking at the world. As a Slytherin, you break house stereotypes and highly value acceptance and creativity - wishing to make the world an even more beautiful place and willing to help anyone who asks.

Having a dragon core implies that you are strong- willed, a quick learner, and can tend to be rather showy, as dragon cores are known for their’ power and stubbornness. Almost in contradiction with your wand wood, this core is the easiest to turn to the dark arts and is known for being rather temperamental. However, this probably simply indicates your deep thoughts about right and wrong and your tendency to look at good and evil in a different light than others typically do.

Elle Woods from Legally Blonde: The Musical Requested by: None Written by: Laika

Slytherin Resourcefulness ↳ “But the thing is you can’t use a half loop stitch on china silk. It’ll pucker.” Elle Woods let’s the saleslady know that she not the person who the saleslady believes that she is. She uses her knowledge of fashion to prove the saleslady wrong. The meaning of the word resourceful clearly states that a person having the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties. Elle Woods does that in various situations through out the musical. She uses the bend and snap to pull evidence to prove that Nicos is gay, but Professor Callahan begs to differ with her. They were in a difficult situation, but. Emmett Forrest agreed with her and took her lead with her claims.

Ambition ↳ “I put my faith in love. I followed where it lead.” She does follow her idea of love throughout the course of the musical, but that doesn’t mean that she uses her own body in order to be ambitious. She uses gut and her head. Elle never uses her own body. During the party scene, she uses her gut even when she doesn’t want people to think of her as someone who’s not serious. When she uses her mind, her drive to success comes from what she had learned along the way. There’s this Mae West quote that fits Elle’s ambitious drive for me and that’s “you only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough” which has Elle Woods written all over it in my opinion. It serves a mentra for her ambitious mind.

Cunning ↳ “In a different setting, you will see you’re getting all of this plus a brain!” She starts off her determined with what she’s going to do in order to get Warner back. Elle Woods is a schemer and has her way of doing things. She has a really thought out plan or goes with what her gut tells her. The meaning of the word cunning means having or showing skill in achieving one’s ends by deceit or evasion and Elle Woods does that pretty well. Along with her character arch and personality traits implied by the various actresses that portrayed her, Elle Woods simply has a motive to use her skills to succeed.

Determined ↳ “No more whining or blaming. I am reclaiming my pride.” She is determined to get into Harvard and to prove herself worthy to anyone that doubts her. Elle’s determination comes from her drive to win Warner back. When Elle Woods saw the photograph of Warner’s brother, Payton and his wife, Muffy, she figured that the woman in the photograph is the kind of girl that Warner needed. Someone who is ambitious both in the inside and out, and that’s how she finds the determination to prove people wrong.

Self-Preservation ↳ “This is no gift, it's payment in kind, ‘cause you saw beyond all the blonde to my mind.” Elle cares a lot for others, her dog, and herself. She doesn’t show any signs of traitor-y. She is loyal and has a lot of respect. Even though loyalty is a Hufflepuff trait, self-preservation also means loyalty. In fact, one of the dictionary definition of preservation is to keep safe from harm or injury; protect or spare. Elle Woods is that person for her friends, Emmett, her dog, and her fellow Delta Nus. She is willing to use what she’s got in order to win the trait and to prove Brooke’s innocence.

Fraternity ↳ “We throw a great big wedding and invite all Delta Nu.” Elle Woods put others before she takes care of herself. She also works well with a team or a group of people. She is not at all selfish because doesn’t keep things to herself unless she made a promise to keep something a secret like she did with Brooke’s alibi. The meaning of fraternity is the state or feeling of friendship and mutual support within a group and a group of people sharing a common profession or interests. And Elle Woods is the kind of person that surrounds herself with likeminded people, such as Paulette, Brooke, and Emmett. Also, during Harvard Variations, she says “Bruiser’s not a dog. Bruiser’s family” which proves that she’s putting her friendship with Bruiser as something that is fraternal.

Cleverness ↳ “Look at his silk translucent socks.” It takes time for Elle Woods to show that she’s clever enough to get into Harvard Law School. She spent most of time inside of her room during What You Want in order to get a 174 in her LSATs. She also spent sometime in her dorm room during Chip On My Shoulder with Emmett and Paulette in order not to get kicked out of Professor Callahan’s class again and again for not being prepared or doing her reading. Even though, it takes time for Elle Woods to process a reading on her own. She needed someone to help her study and to help her concentrate on what she has to do for class.

Thunderbird Favors Adventurers ↳ “There’s a chip on my shoulder makes me smarter and bolder.” To Elle Woods, everyday is an adventure. Her adventurous way of thinking is how she prevailed in the end. It it also how she became valedictorian with a little help from Emmett, of course. Although some people may think that she’s a Ravenclaw because of her artistic side, but. That’s her adventurous side. Elle Woods artistry and everything else that makes people believe that she’s a Ravenclaw all comes from her adventurous side, since her choice of escape from reality is Fashion and her dog, Bruiser.

Represents the Soul ↳ “I was living in ignorant bliss ‘til I learned I could be more than this.” As I pieced Elle Woods’ exterior together and concluded her as a Slytherin, I also gathered some pieces that makes her a Thunderbird. Most of Elle’s persistence and self-doubt comes from the inside. The Greek Chorus helps pull her out of her downward spiral after finding out that Vivienne is Warner’s girlfriend. Elle Woods also has a kind heart, which is shows during Ireland and Take It Like A Man as well as in court during Brooke’s trial. As Vivienne said about Elle Woods, “being true to yourself never goes out of style” and that’s what Elle Woods is all about.

Patronus Black Mamba ↳ “First a deep breath. Take it all in.” Elle Woods’ Patronus is the Black Mamba because of her wisdom and sharp mind. She takes care of others giving them advice whenever she can. She shows this during Bend And Snap to help Paulette gain her confidence. And we are told about her wisdom by Vivienne during the graduation scene of the musical using the Shakespeare quote, “to thine own self be true”. As for Elle Woods’ sharp mind, it is shown throughout the musical as the character’s driving force.

Wand 13 1/2″ Red Oak with Dragon heartstring core, fairly flexible ↳ “Leave with what’s left of my dignity. Get in the car and just go.” Elle Woods is arguably one of Delta Nus most quick-witted and adaptable alums. She’s someone who is smart enough to see the difference between okay and too far even though it’s easy for her to stoop down to someone else’s level. Elle’s wand is fairly flexible because she shows a lot of her cheerful and positive side. She also shows self-doubt and self-loathe at times and during Legally Blonde (Ballad). Elle’s wand’s size is 13 1/2″ because she’s mostly positive and rarely doubtful. In short, Elle Woods can handle this combination of wand throughout the musical.

They did a phenomenal job crafting my one-of-a-kind wand with impeccable detail & care! It’ll make a perfect accessory for my Slytherin witch costume for this year’s Renaissance Festival!
