“Smile for the camera =) ”.
Long before you were born, your ancestor pissed off an ancient hag. For their insolence, they were cursed with certain death. The hag punished them with a burning and all-consuming urge to kill dragons.
They died not long after the curse, foolishly facing off against an ancient blue dragon armed with nothing but a simple longsword. Even with their death, the hag was not satisfied, so the curse was passed on to their child. Generations have passed since then and now you find yourself the target of this curse.
However, there is good news. The curse has weakened over the decades and the need to kill dragons hasn’t awakened in you yet. But you know it is only a matter of time. Your family did everything they could to help you and train you to the best of their abilities.
But, no matter how much you train, you know one day this curse will kill you. Your only hope is to find a way to end it. Many have tried and you are living proof that they all failed.
Where might this hag live? Are they still alive? What could you do to end this curse?

Well this took far longer than expected :/
Regardless, the first dragon is finished! I chose to do Killer first since the idea for his design was one of the most solid, and as I predicted he was very fun to draw.
To explain the basic stats above, each dragon will be graded out of ten in seven base categories. Strength measures physical duress, toughness, and endurance. Power measures magical strength and aptitude. Intelligence measures book smarts and logic. Trickery measures how sly and manipulative the dragon is or can be. Speed is pretty self explanatory. Agility also encompasses accuracy and precision. Lastly, stealth is both sneakiness and how inconspicuous the dragon can be. The ratings I give may not be fully accurate to canon characteristics or peoples perceptions of the original versions of these characters, but I have a reason behind each rating I give. Feel free to ask if you’re curious!
The abilities section above will include any powers specific to the dragon in question. In Killer’s case, black fluid is not only produced by the eyes but is also excreted from pores on his head, back, tail, and legs. These spines can be detached at will, and a new spine will near instantaneously form to take an empty spot. As can be seen in the top right corner, Killer’s paw and toe pads feature special ridges with microscopic filaments that allow him to climb up many vertical surfaces with an incline of at most 90 degrees. To top is off, his entire being is infused with the same black fluid, rendering him toxic. If ingested or otherwise absorbed by another being, the fluid causes weakness and pain eventually followed by organ failure. I realize that overall my design draws similarities to Toxin!Killer by @/csormt, but I merely took inspiration from their design along with others in the creation of the dragon and I have no intentions of plagiarizing any of their ideas in full or consciously extending these parallels any further.
Now that I’ve got my first design down, there is a chance you may see doodles of this guy in the near future.
