Oh my God? Oh my godds???
Okay. So.
I said this last night.
The purposes for each story
Poison Druid's Tale- unethical doctors and scientists rarely get truly punished for their crimes
Mistake of the Phoenix- no matter what you do, some people will still think you're a danger to others and they will punish you for it. (Kinda neurodivergent or maybe racism metaphor?)
Sisters of the sun- neurodivergence is often not allotted patience if it's inconvenient (basically how people who can be "more normal" are, in some ways, given more patience than the "less normal" people, but also given less patience in other ways. Overall just mistreatment of people with neurodivergence)
The Hybrid's Quest- maybe something about how mixed-race couples (and mixed children) are demonized? He's not accepted by either tribe he should be a part of.
The Fugitive's Redemption- maybe something about... Idk. It'll probably be about how orphans are treated and how they're expected to provide for themselves if they're teens. Probably something about race too, I'm not sure tho.
The Assassin's Mission- I'm not sure what "lesson" I want for Kalico's story. Unlike the others, she's well liked by her tribes and queens, well trained, never banished, etc etc. Maybe... Since I kinda consider Kalico to be a bit on the untrusting and curt side, maybe it could be something about how making friends and learning about other people's views on different situations can help you as a person grow? Lmk what you think. (Also, her story is gonna have an epilogue along with a maybe-prologue)
The Druid and the Phoenix- another more positive story. Uh. Since it's their love story from Dreamcatcher's pov, and, since Dreamcatcher is a bit on the antisocial side when the story starts, maybe it could be something about how friendship (and eventual love) can soften hard edges? Idk how to write romance tho, so they're gonna be awkward as shiiiii
A Hunt for A Druid (previously called the hunters of the sisters)- I don't know what lesson or theme or whatever should be part of this story. Everyone leaves alive. Maybe there could be something about sins being forgiven or something?
:0
I could pull in the fact the story ends in the old kingdom of the Moonscales! Something about the oracles! Omg??
Uhh. Yes.
Overall theme? Uhh. Found family, friendship, and redemption. Idk.
