My ★ review of Dragonball Evolution (2009) on Letterboxd:
An adaptation so lousy, I'm willing to surrender to a Saiyan invasion on Earth. We failed as a species.
Pic of the Day: James Marsters #Piccolo is reaching for your balls... uh, your, uh, *dragon* balls, of course... aka James #Dragonball: Evolution promo pic 2009 @JamesMarstersOf
Your reminder that, according to the Dragonball Evolution video game adaptation, Chi-Chi's official full name in that movie's universe was, in fact: Chi-Chi McRoberts. Chi-Chi. McRoberts. Carry on.

I watched the Speckles the Tarbosaurus duology a few days back.
First movie was an interesting adventure. Edgy dino T-rex villain and all that aside I really enjoyed this. I liked seeing Speckles grow up over time and it was sad to see his entire life fall apart. Thankfully it all worked out in the end. The second film basically just as good. More of a usual children's adventure film but enjoyable, nonetheless. The main upside this movie has is the fact the main characters fight a dragon at the climax.
This is a pretty short review, but I wanted to talk about these movies and forgot to do it when I first watched them.
Oh! I also watched Dragonball Evolution last night. It was pretty good. No, I won't elaborate.
