When we get Wings of Fire as an animated series, which books do you think would work perfectly/be better off as a full length film?

Okay but Dragonslayer is awesome. Wings of Fire, a story primarily concerned with the limits of empathy, has a series of background animals that, due due to the nature of its audience, we know are fully sentient beings. But within the books they're still relegated to perplexing creatures that do eccentric things due to the nature of the books perspective.

And then comes a side book. And this time, the other species aren't 'eccentric little animals.' This is a people who fear the whims of beings so powerful, just one can destroy a village in an instant. Dragons are vengeful gods even the smartest and most attentive humans only haphazardly guess at their motivations. We watch our new main characters get tossed around by and frighteningly dodge our old protagonists with a new perspective on how terrifying this world is we've known.

Ans then, of course, Tui decided to destroy all that in The Dangerous Gift. For some reason.

finally reread dragonslayer and guys. tbhonest i really liked it. still not fond about the whole scavengers being brought into the main plot but it was a lot better than what i remembered. anyways undauntable is one of my new favorite characters i hope he and his giant cat show up again soon .. they could never make me hate you undauntable

Anybody else still hoping for another Dragonslayer book because the last one ended on a cliffhanger?

something i've had on my mind is a wof d&d au. one where the whole series is just several connected campaigns, played by the dragonslayer characters.

i haven't figured out all the logistics of this, but i want to call it 'dm stands for dragon master'.
