imagine like. all the robins being deaged to when they first became robin

so you’ve got all them in various stages of preteen/teenager, right? duke, who’s sixteen with none of the training and all of the righteous anger. damian, who’s nine and trying to earn his place in a family that (he believes) doesn’t want or need him. steph, who’s eighteen(?) and going to be robin whether the bat likes it or not. tim, who’s thirteen and determined to save batman from himself. jason, who’s twelve and wants to do good, to give back, to be magic.

then there’s dick, who’s two years old and a bouncing ball of energy. his mama’s little robin, bob-bob-bobbin’ along.

the batkids absolutely have a shared spotify account. they each have playlists with the songs they like to listen to while patrolling/doing cases/training/etc.

it’s very popular; gothamites absolutely love listening to it. there have been physical fights over who has the best music taste. sometimes, if they know there’s going to be a specific bat around, they’ll play their playlist. red hood’s is playing somewhere in crime alley pretty much all the time.

the only person who doesn’t have access is bruce, because he might delete the ‘fuck batman’ playlist (which is, of course, a playlist of all the songs bruce hates. they play it whenever he annoys them).

they even have specific playlists for fighting different rogues. oracle can and will take over any speakers she can find to play them.

wayne manor is massive, and old, and of course has a ton of weird hallways and secret passageways. no one knows where all of them are; not even alfred has found all of them.

the only person in the family who knows the entire manor is damian, and not of his own volition.

at one point, maps got really into making maps for buildings. she made some for her house, then an atlas for gotham academy, then for the public library, then a bunch for all her friends houses.

eventually she ran out of buildings and begged damian to let her in wayne manor so she could make an atlas for it. he agreed bc he’s a big softie who loves his friends, and she already knew about the bats so it was fine.

several months, an absurd amount of paper, and a whole lot of dust later, they made a full atlas! it covers every square inch of the manor and it’s color coded. it does, in fact, have several pages dedicated to the batcave.

that’s how maps knows the manor better than anyone who actually lives there. except damian bc she dragged him along with her.

so y’know how the little cloth on enchanting tables are red? well it’s my personal headcanon that the original dogwarts banner was made with the cloth from their enchanter.

look, bruce wayne is not a bad cook. he’s batman. there’s no way he would overlook such a vital skill. he’s not cooking any five-star meals, sure, but he can make basic, nutritional meals.

the issue is that he has ridiculously bad luck in the kitchen. every time he goes to cook, something goes comically wrong. something malfunctions, or there’s an emergency he has to run off and fix, or the pets get involved. no matter what, every time he tries to cook the universe does not let him. he’s fine in a survival situation, but in a domestic setting? nope.

everyone thinks he’s a terrible chef but it’s really not his fault! he still probably shouldn’t be allowed in the kitchen.

lizzie is the daughter of the dark fairy, and ren is the son of the big bad wolf, of course, like i said in the faeriefort-daily post.

bdubs is the son of cinderella, joel is the son of jack (and the beanstalk), impulse is the son of beauty and the beast, scar is the son of sleeping beauty, etho is one of the charmings, grian is the son of the cheshire cat, mumbo is the son of humpty dumpty, bigb is the son of the march hare, martyn is the son of the mad hatter, pearl is the daughter of the queen of hearts, gem is the daughter of rapunzel, skizz is the son of the swan queen, jimmy is the son of alice (in wonderland), scott is the son of the little mermaid, cleo is the child of pinocchio

tango is the son of the evil queen. i was having a lot of trouble with him; i had a bunch of other ideas, my favorites being the little match girl and the fire fairy. it felt really out of place for him to be from a more obscure fairytale while everyone else are the kids of the classic grimm tales everyone’s heard of. it also makes it more fun if i want to use the evil queen for something.

some of them are pretty obvious, but feel free to ask about any of my choices! i’d love to ramble. i did write character bios for everyone, so maybe i’ll post those once i have all my designs finished. (i also have some other minor characters planned, like the other emperors and evolutionists, but i don’t really watch much hermitcraft so i would love ideas for the other hermits!)

i have some plot ideas, but nothing really concrete. i have a LOT of projects i’m working on right now, but i do wanna give this one more focus because it’s one of my favorites!

so i know a lot of people headcanon that the winners are turned into watchers… well what if the losers are turned into listeners?

jimmy is already heavily associated with them. a lot of people headcanon him as one, including myself!

so: listener lizzie! i think she would make a great listener.
