i get really annoyed when people blow things out of proportion when they interpret a character. 

for instance, dranbolt's whole wendy thing. it's as simple as this: he was her partner, he saw how kind hearted and innocent and good blah blah blah she was, when she and ft got caught up in the tenrou war and he as a member of the council had to leave them behind he carried guilt for 7 years thinking he was responsible for a sweet little girl's death. so he thinks about this and beats himself up over it and when he sees that she's not dead he's relieved, and continues to carry a sort of attachment to her because of all that's happened. it's exactly how it sounds. Nothing more and nothing less.

but of fucking course the fandom is constantly like "lol he's such a pedophile," "omg what a creep he likes little girls" shut the fuck up yo, seriously, you're annoying as shit. he shows concern and guilt over a child he thought died because of him, it's not like he shows any sexual or romantic interest in her and he's not even obsessed with her or anything. stop making it into something it's not.
