Hello all, I am still around. I watched the entirety of Black Sails with my 16 yr old son recently. It was SO much fun to finally share it with one of my kids. I’m in a bit of a well with regard to making art. I want to create but I get in my own way. I’ve been here before, years ago for a long time. My brain convinces me I cannot remember how to do what I did before. I’m going to try to draw a little every day.

Finished out the page! For those familiar with the comic, you’ll recognize the return of Kit with a splash! Literally. This page posed a bit of a block for me, but now that it is drawn, I’m quite pleased. Thank you for being patient with me, everyone, and I hope you’re looking forward to this new issue!

OC Creating Games:

1. put your playlist in random order. 1st song is the character’s appearance. 2nd song is the character’s personality. 3rd song is the character’s backstory. 4th song is the character’s innermost desire. 5th song is the character’s deepest fear.

2. combine a person you like (a friend, a celebrity, a fictional hero, etc) and someone you hate (an enemy, a rude person on the internet, a fictional villain, etc). What do they look like? What motivates them? How do they act?

3. Choose an animal. Base a character’s appearance off of it. Then give them the personality traits of a completely unrelated animal.

4. Base a character off of the weather. if it’s drearily raining, make them wear muted blues and grays and have a pessimistic personality.

5. What was the last place you went, song that’s stuck in your head, and current obsession? mix and match and base the character’s appearance, personality, and likes/dislikes each on one.

6. look at the clothes you’re wearing right now. your shirt, pants, and accessories/socks/shoes/hair/etc represent your character’s personality, appearance, and hidden traits (fears, insecurities, private life, etc). Choose which thing represents which.

7. What is your favorite color, the main color(s) of the place you’re in, and the main color(s) of your outfit? Base your character off of this color scheme.

8. find a cool name, or come up with one. then base a character off of that name.

Oh man....

drawing - farewell. Not sure if I can manage to draw anything in the coming time. So drained. Pictures in my head but I can’t realize them. Energy for continuing my fanfiction’s running out, too... frustrating times... -_- a year before there was so much fire, a spark. Now it’s just kind of gone...
