hi, hello just wanted to say your lineart is super crunchy and i was wondering what program and brushes you use.
also your anatomy is superb and inspiring for me since i don't usually draw beef. all in all v juicy lmao
ps. i think seeing pyramid head in your style would actually kill me
lots of love!!
Hey sorry for the late response
Set up
iPad Pro 12.9 + procreate ( i got the 12.9 mostly for split screen so I can use refs when I draw and still have enough room to draw )
Brushes are from GUMROAD ( the ones I use religiously and you see in most videos and art) I get asked this question a lot and most of my line art and art in general is from ink packs 😂🖤
I WILL ABSOLUTELY DRAW PYRAMID HEAD…
Because I saw a post related to this, if you’re an artist who works on a tablet like me, get you one of these! (Or one like it) They’re relatively inexpensive, portable, and you can save yourself a lot of neck and shoulder pain by keeping your tablet elevated. It’s well worth being ahead of it rather than waiting for problems to develop. Believe me, I should have used the ergonomic setup tools when I was younger. (If you don’t like to work at a desk or table you can also pair this with a lap-desk and it’s still better than staring down with the tablet in your lap. Hope this helps!)
My art setup ^_^
My Setup So Far
I’ve been drawing digitally since 2009, doing freelance since 2011, and started with only a laptop and a bamboo wacom drawing tablet. That setup roughly cost $500. Now I have a decent but outdated computer, a cintiq companion 2 wacom tablet, gaming monitor behind that for the PS4 pro(astro headset and scuf controller), a blue yeti castor setup, and a GTRacing gaming chair. The most expensive setup I have to date. Sitting at roughly $4,500. It may have taken years but I am happy.
The moral of this post is to never give up. It may take a while, sure, but eventually, you will get there. Keep up that hard work, don’t stop practicing and studying, and you will only move forward towards your goal. I believe in you.
I'm digging my new drawing setup! That right there is a touch screen monitor! I’ve always wanted one of these! And i tell you what, it does not disappoint :)
Does anyone have a suggested like low spoons drawing set-up and what does it look like? I like to draw on my tablet and am now wanting to do more in Blender, I was able to get a good keyboard to use with my tablet but not having a touch pad is difficult for me to deal with. I tried to map a joycon so that I could use it as a cursor but it was really difficult for me to figure out & I could really use some recommendations / alternatives? What I've tried: -old drawing tablets- they don't have bluetooth -BetterJoy - won't work? maybe bc I'm on windows ARM -JoyShockMapper- I think I figured this out but I can't get it to work? Tried the file path, pasting the default presets in and had no luck For context: -My tablet is a Surface pro 11 - that I can't recommend, unfortunatel
