A flashback to 2016, when I went on the BFG Dream Jars Trail over a 2 day period. This photo was taken at Wellington Arch & you can see one of the Dream Jars on the left hand-side of the arch. Wellington Arch, also known as Constitution Arch or as the Green Park Arch, is a Grade I-listed triumphal arch by Decimus Burton that forms a centrepiece of Hyde Park Corner in central London, between corners of Hyde Park and Green Park; it stands on a large traffic island with crossings for pedestrian access. {Source Wikipedia} #city #history #bfg #dreamjars #dreams #jars #search #trail #wikipedia #photo #outdoors #natural #fujifilm #tonywisemanphotography #tonywiseman #statue #arch #wellington #wellingtonarch #constitutionarch #greenparkarch #decimusburton 18-08-16 - BFG Dream Jars Trail (21 of 46 found) (at Wellington Arch) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9wIyDhFu2S/?igshid=l8dwtx3nct6g

The Facility
I woke up in a bunker that was all white, and extremely small. Blinking my eyes a few times to get adjusted to the light, I started putting on my uniform. Walking out into the hallway, I couldn't help but notice that everything was in a pristine and sterile state.
I made my way down to the Cerebro Lab where inside I found a large white silicone tub that had several naked bodies sleeping inside of it. Or... they weren't really sleeping. They seemed to be in a sort of induced sleep, and they were all muttering nonsensical thing. A few of them shuddering as they said something. Out of nowhere, one of the women in the tub started to wake up. I had no idea what to do, these people weren't supposed to wake up by themselves. A scientist was supposed to be appointed to each one of them, and wake them up when they were ready for research. I felt a strong urge, no, a need to help this woman. I grabbed one of the white towels nearby and caught her in it as she almost fell from trying to climb out of the tub. She's covered in cold sweat and some sort of gel that I supposed had been used to regulate her body temperature. She kept asking me where she was, what she was doing here, and where the zombies were. I managed to get out of her that she was named Alice. That's when one of the scientists, Jean Grey, came in. She seemed surprised to see Alice out of the tub, sitting on a stool shivering. Her face, however, gently fell from surprised to pleased. She said that while she didn't expect Alice to get out by herself, she knew it was entirely possible and was hoping that she would. I tried to ask Jean several questions about what was going on, but she brushed me aside and escorted Alice out of the lab. That's when one of the emergency armory kits in the ceiling opened up revealing a set of twin pistols and several ammunition. A small security turret also came down as if to protect the kit from anyone getting near it. That's when I decided to take my leave.
As I was walking through the main courtyard, I noticed a group of people standing nervously in front of the reception desk. They were probably new comers, I thought. I heard a familiar voice complaining about why they were forced to come here. Looking over, I saw that the voice belonged to an old high school friend, Rosa. Ecstatic, I rushed over to her. This was the first time that I would actually know someone inside of the facility. This would give me a chance to talk to someone, and not just have to talk to myself. She, however, didn't seem as overjoyed to see me. My hug was not amiably returned. Instead she started pressing me with why she was here, why I was here, why anybody was here. I didn't know what to answer her. It had never occurred to me to question why we were here in this building. Why all of a sudden we were all part of some universal research project. Why I was never allowed to see the outside world. I left Rosa without saying anything, unable to comprehend how I just blindly followed this movement.
A few days had passed, and I found Rosa again near the reception desk. She was in a school girl uniform and waited the metrobus to take her and the rest of the students to the facility's school. I went up to her, and she was not please to see me. I profusely began apologizing for having left her so suddenly without any answers. The metrobus was approaching and she blew me off saying that she didn't have time to listen to me. This was my only chance, I knew that if I was going to get out of here, I needed Rosa. I went up to her, and whispered so no one would here that I planned on getting out of here. She was skeptical at first, and in her face I could tell that she didn't know what to decide. The bus was about to leave, this was her moment to decide. Exasperated, she said, "Fine" and came with me, leaving the bus. As soon as we walked into the main hall, a Facility director came up to us absolutely furious. He pointed to the electronic board on the wall where the Facility had a record of "0 Unattended Day and 8,571 Attended Days" for students. As we looked, the number quickly changed to "1 Unattended Day." Rosa had broken the unbreakable record. We knew we were in some serious shit and ran for it.
After several minutes, we lost our pursuers. Apologizing for what had happened, Rosa didn't seem to mind at all. She was actually laughing. This woman was going to actually help me escape. I asked her, "Do you know how to use a gun?" She laughed and replied sarcastically "Do I know how to use a gun?" What was I thinking, of course she knew how to use a gun. I started leading her back to the Cerebro Lab. That's where our set of guns were. I forgot one crucial detail though. The security turret. We barely made it out of the lab as the turret had started shooting at us. Empty handed, we skulked through the hallways. That's when I saw Alice sitting on a bench. She cleaned up very nicely, and was wearing a lab coat. I assumed that she had previously been some sort of doctor or scientist before she had been put to sleep. Another doctor was approaching her, and I tried to grab her attention, but she brushed me aside. Desperately I begged for just a small word. Complying, I whispered into her ear, "I need to get into the Cerebro Lab." As if she knew exactly what I was planning, her face grew extremely stern. Looking directly at me, she gave a swift single nod.
