Blender newbie progress

So if anyone knows me, they know I cannot draw to save my life. I can use vroid pretty well, but that wasn't cutting it anymore.

So... it was time to learn THE WAY OF BLENDER 3D

Aileen and I piled into a discord call and we had a lot of fun, watching blender guru's tutorial and I learned a lot, but I also started to follow it on my own time as well, to get some proper practice in.

This is still a WIP, I'm hoping to finish it tonight or tomorrow all things considered. I already got my next project planned out

Which will be exploring isometric spaces so I can make sets for my models to hang out in and make my own streaming assets along with picture assets

Gaaahhh this is so FUCKING OLD-

But one thing I REALLY wanna do is make better backgrounds for my models. This for example, was made in Animal Crossing and it's obvious it's a PNG. Currently, I use either PNG's or presets in VRM posing

Sometimes combining low poly presets and png's to make for example, Mila having a mental breakdown over breakfast. 8D

Now, I might not be able to make everything and it's going to take progress.

Other things I was working on also included animation in MMD

Honestly, every time I have a bad day this pops up on my dash and I smile sooo freaking much looking through it, from the animations, to the characters. They’re all so unique and special and I just adore them. (Right now, I’ve been feeling really sick all night and this is just what I needed for a much MUCH needed smile)

Tybee takes your palm and traces the lines, pointing out various bumps and whorls common in those psychically gifted. “Hm... Looks promising. Gil, you want to take a crack at it?”

Gil frowns but comes to look at your palm. “Sorry,” he mutters, not meeting your eyes, “I’m kinda new to this.”

He traces similar lines to Tybee, looks to Tybee, then looks back to your palm.

“I think...” he says with hesitation, “that you have a gift, but it will take some diligence to develop. Uh, keep at it, and believe in yourself?”

^^^ Completely agree.

You can be a fan of any sort of media without ploughing through every single piece of it. You haven't had to experienced it all to know who your favourite character is, or what you like about it, or to engage with other fans.

Everyone reads/plays/watches/listens at their own pace, and it doesn't mean you love it any less because of that.

It's totally okay not to be all caught up. I never am, and I see tags and comments from a lot of other fans who aren't too.

What's your favorite thing to draw?

Oh goodness, let’s see…I love drawing alot of things, from things as basic as interesting poses or expressions, gosh I love drawing wild expressions. Some of my favorite things to draw are eyes, hair and hands (if you couldn’t tell from all the weird hair designs on my OC’s :’))I used to only draw creatures and dragons, but now I get far more enjoyment from drawing people. Especially tall people. I draw way too many tall people…Honestly, everything is fun to draw if it isn’t a background. Backgrounds can just go bye-bye thanks :)
