ok the first realization i have come to after reading The Raven Cycle for the third time is that a lot of the stuff i thought i had either dreamed or read in fanfiction is actually canon? and this is bizarre to me

i.e. That scene in The Raven King where Ronan is sitting in the car after he finds out his mom is dead and Adam comes outside and he's like "You can't sleep out here" and Ronan is like "Yes I can" and Adam is just like "Ok" and he gets in the passenger seat and puts the seat down and uses Ronan's aglionby jacket as a pillow and he's like "wake me up if somebody dies <3"

I fr thought I read that in a fanfiction at some point but it turns out i didn't and this is great news

shadow and bone S2 spoilers/////

so I think my absolute favorite part of season 2 overall is the scene where the crows and Tolya are breaking into Ohval's house

Everyone is dying from posion consumption, going through the most traumatic experiences and flash backs

and Wylan is just monolouging about a butterfly, totally oblivious to the whole situation

He's like, "This butterfly.. polinates this flower.. and both benefit... sort of like a love story <3"

meanwhile the lover in question is dying 10 feet away

can we talk about Gansey's friend group for a second, though? This posh frat boy befriended an angry goth gay child, a trailer trash hyper-intelligent angsty teenager, a dead skater boi obsessed with glitter, a radical feminist tree, a chinese-korean canadian boy with childhood trauma, and an old Engish man.

sometimes I forget how pretty Wylan is but like

remeber that scene in his backstory where he was trying to find a job and some guy looked at him and was like
