Now, Drepanaspis is one of my favorite jawless fish. And it will get a PROPER spotlight at some point. But this week wont be it. Mainly cause my worklife is getting more and more ridiculous. ( I started searching for a new job due to this) Drepanaspis was a depressed pteraspidiform. Usually people compare it to a paddle or a literal pan. But when I see it I usually think of something else. DR3-PAN, going where no agnathan has ever gone before.

I found this on a wallpaper site without any credit or source.  I traced it to The Macmillan Illustrated Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Animals, but I still can't find an artist's credit.  If you can, please reblog with that information.
