your art is so good! do you draw digitally or on paper?

good question! the answer is "a bit of both". I start all my sketches traditionally with a col-erase pencil.

I've learned that red pencil looks the best underneath my markers. I think it adds depth to the way I render skin.

I use copic markers for the majority of my colors. I render directly on top of my pencil sketch.

After I'm done with the markers, I add my line work with pen. Then I scan and edit digitally.

I add so many overlay, multiply, and lumosity layers to my art that I'd argue it's at least partially digital. yeah !!

ok but what does Steve think of Gerald and vice versa?

the first time steve visited the lakehouse post-snap and met gerald, the alpaca spat on him. he was aiming for steve’s face but the blond was too tall so he got his shirt instead. good enough.

tony laughed as steve wiped at his shirt, then gave steve a few goji berries to bribe gerald with. “let him have ten minutes to cool down and forget about your existence, then give him some gojis. you’ll win him over immediately.”

“he likes goji berries, huh?” steve asked as he took them from tony’s palm. “ever tried feeding him blueberries?”

“no. blueberries are my thing. gojis are his.”

so steve did as he was told and approached gerald again after a little while. gerald zoned in on the gojis the moment he saw steve approach and closed the distance between them. steve only had five berries with him though, the stingy fucker, so gerald inhaled them in three seconds, waited a couple more moments to see if steve had more, and turned to go back to grazing on the grass.

afterwards, steve made sure to bring gojis with him every time he stopped by the lakehouse. gerald would greet him cheerfully, lick at steve’s palms until the last goji was gone, then go back and mind his own business.

“he’s real cute,” steve said to tony after his fourth time going over for lunch. “i think he likes me.”

the one time steve decided to pop by for an impromptu visit and didn’t have gojis with him though, gerald spat on him again. back to square one.

if I wanted to read comics with Bucky in them (as the winter soldier) where would I start?

*Note that Bucky’s history is heavily intertwined with Black Widow and if you’re not into buckynat, welp a lot of the storylines will get cut off because his history is so heavy with them. oaisjoiad and it’s kinda essential for his story so im iosajdosd gonna have to include it-Brubaker is your main man right there because he’s basically the guy who revived Bucky. (straight up, bucky was mia for AGES in the comics, like thirty years or something.) For Bucky, I’d recommend starting Captain America and Bucky (2011) - it’s not brubaker but it explains a tldr of Bucky’s past. Then head straight to Captain America (2005) brubaker (this explains how he gets back in the game basically) *heavy buckynat - this also explains how Bucky becomes Captain America. In the middle of Captain America (2005, it’s a long storyline that goes all the way to 2009) you’ve gotta read Civil War (2006) because it explains some of the backstory that continues in Captain America (2005). Bucky then runs as Cap in a lot of the storylines but he’s not the main focal character in them so next I’d suggest Captain America: Reborn (2009). Then Captain America: Reborn Who Will Wield The Shield (2010). *know that during this time, Buck was facing massive criticism after they found out that the new cap was basically the Winter Soldier. After that, I suggest Fear Itself (2011) *bucky steps down as cap, then you can go ahead and go straight to Winter Soldier (2012) *buckynat heavy, then go Winter Soldier: Bitter March (2014), (I read Bucky Barnes: Winter Soldier (2014) and I’ve never hated a storyline before holy shit. I don’t suggest that one but if you want to, go for it. I couldn’t stomach the art but I read it all the way through and I was still like ???? whY???)*you can skip secret wars because buck was hardly there tbh. Avengers Standoff (2016) & Avengers Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill Omega (2016) *explains how he got Kobik,  Thunderbolts (2016? 2017?) *leader of the thunderbolts. *you can skip Secret Empire if you want to but know that he’s in it and does connect to some of the Thunderbolt issues. Once that’s done, go straight to Tales Of Suspense (2018), then go straight to Winter Soldier (2018)

TLDR OF THIS:  *in chronological order in my opinion 

Captain America and Bucky (2011), Captain America (2005), Civil War (2006)*in the middle of Captain America 2005, Captain America: Reborn (2009), Captain America: Reborn Who Will Wield The Shield (2010), Fear Itself (2011), Winter Soldier (2012), Winter Soldier: Bitter March (2014), Avengers Standoff (2016),  Avengers Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill Omega (2016), Thunderbolts (2016? 2017?), Tales Of Suspense (2018), Winter Soldier (2018)*current run (finished). He’s currently in the new Invaders (2019)*Namor and all them old teams are back together - I haven’t read it yet, might read it soon.

OPTIONAL READS: *has bucky or is bucky centric

Winter Soldier: Winter Kills*oneshot Black Widow (2014) & (2016)*lowkey plays with the whole omg does Nat remember or nahOriginal Sin (2014)- he kills robot nick fury lmao it’s great - this is only optional because quite fucking honestly Bucky Barnes: Winter Soldier (2014) right after Original Sin was so FUCKING BAD THAT SO MANY WRITERS CHOOSE TO IGNORE IT. Bucky Barnes: Winter Soldier (2014)- good luck my friend, happy adventuringSecret Empire: (2017) he’s in this but like oof i know a lot of people hate this story with hydra steve and all, so its optional

It makes me so happy you noticed that. They were indeed inspired by Chris Hemsworth’s own inked rune symbols representing his wife and children. I wanted something simple and minimal for Tony, and honestly, I was also trying to figure out what kind of subtle Avengers tattoo I can design (for myself lol), and I gave it to Tony. Maybe I’ll still get a variant of that one day.

The coordinates are Afghanistan, the Avengers Tower Manhattan, and Malibu. The three places where Tony Stark was reborn.
