Instead of misaligning, try dropping your knees down and only lowering so far that you can still hold your alignment. Welcome to day 1 of #DRILLSFORSKILLS! Today’s pose is #downwarddog. - ➡️SWIPE for do’s & don’t’s! - One of the most common misalignments that I see are the shoulders compressing toward the spine and the elbows splaying out, leaving no space around the neck or safety in the shoulder area. This doesn’t make for a very strong foundation either. Instead, try to elevate the shoulder slightly WHILE wrapping the biceps in and inner elbows forwards.
