There’s something really romantic about killing the living version of yourself and running off to live her life in her hometown, hiding the android aspects of your own body, and falling in love with the most normal, boring man ever, who is actually the 23rd copy of that normal, boring man, who took over the normal, boring life the man led. Just two people who aren’t really people, living the most personal life together, and taking each others last names because they aren’t the original, they belong to each other.

In your mind, Would you say that robot em and clone Paul count as angst in the wide like events and stuff

as a baseline, no. i think you could make angst out of it if you tried (insecurity over not being the original is a classic) but i don’t think their existence would qualify. sucks for the originals, but nobody knows to mourn them.
